Did you know that the majority of Democrats prefer O B A M A?

CNN) — A majority of Democrats would like to see Barack Obama rather than Hillary Clinton win their party's presidential nomination, according to a national poll out Monday.Fifty-two percent of registered Democrats questioned in a new CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey say the senator from Illinois is their choice for president, with 45 percent supporting Clinton. The poll also suggests Democrats are more enthusiastic about an Obama victory (45 percent) than for a victory by the senator from New York (38 percent).

Interesting.. more democrats want him, more independents want him, and more Republicans *actually* want him (not counting the Limbaugh votes). So, why exactly is Mrs. Clinton still in this race??

2. It's a CNN Opinion Research Poll...
Or, do CNN polls only count if they show Clinton winning now? :eyes:

6. Please show where I have ever linked to a CNN poll?
Oh you can't? Then show me where I have acknowledged ANYONE the winner of one? Oh that's right. I haven't.
Roll your eyes right back at yourself.
It's an online poll. It wasn't scientific and you linked to a blog.
If you want to talk about legitimacy of sources...start now.

10. From the link provided:
"The CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll was conducted by telephone March 14-16, with 1, 019 Americans questioned, including 463 registered voters who identify themselves as Democrats or independents who lean Democratic."

11. And that means what?
That 1019 people "claimed" to be Democrats?
Hardly a scientific method. Try again.

you are absolutely right. I not only mis-read your post and failed to notice the OP title, but then I went and accused you of something out of left-field. I really sucked with that one. Sorry.

3. Gallup Disagrees
PRINCETON, NJ -- Gallup Poll Daily election tracking from March 14-16 finds Hillary Clinton's bid for the 2008 Democratic nomination supported by 47% of national Democratic voters, and Barack Obama's candidacy favored by 45%

http://www.gallup.com/poll/105040/Gallup-Daily-Clinton-Now-47-Obama-45.aspx

And she's beating Grand Pa by a larger margin:

If the election were held today (and yes, we know it won't be), Democratic contender Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton would get 51% of the vote to Republican candidate Sen. John McCain's 46%, the latest USA TODAY/Gallup Poll estimates. In a match-up between Democratic Sen. Barack Obama and McCain, Obama comes out ahead 49%-47%.

How about we let the two competitors play out the string?

12. No They Don't.
First of all, there's a chance that poll included independents leaning dem, and furthermore it's only one poll out of a ton that show the opposite result.

Registered dems by a slight margin prefer Hillary. You've got a lot of other stuff goin your way, at least accept that against ya. Hey, not everything is perfect for ya.

16. hey...what's the problem..
with posting a CNN poll? If you've got another one, why don't you post it, instead of getting snarky with the poster because you don't like the poll results?

18. Because he said that DEMOCRATS preferred OBAMA
and that is patently untrue.
One online poll says yeah...others polls, not so much.
Nothing to be said if the post was titled "CNN POLL SAYS"....but that isn't what it said so here we are.
