Poll question: Did Hillary Clinton win Michigan fair and square?
...

As for Michigan, {Bill} Clinton said he thinks his wife won fair and square there despite hers being the only first-tier Democratic candidate name on the ballot.

“In Michigan, she won, and there was a very determined local effort to get people to vote against her and for uncommitted. But the other candidates voluntarily took their names off the ballot, I think, trying to help themselves in Iowa and because they knew she was going to win Michigan. … So I don’t know what is going to happen. It is sort of above my pay grade. I have no — I’m not involved in the negotiations between the campaigns,” he said.

33. Hear Hillary herself on the validity of the Michigan primary...
Interviewer: So, if you value the DNC calendar, why not just pull out of Michigan? Why not just say, "Hey, Michigan, I'm off the ballot."

Hillary: "Well, you know, it's clear this election is not going to count for anything."

2. She didn't cheat at all. But its also an invalid contest. So she won all zero delegates fair+square
Now asking for them to count it as a valid contest is not desiring to play by the rules.

13. It would make me feel absolutely terrible to take their money as I am absolutely sure
that Hillary would be just well beside herself with tepid feelings of regret should their schemes actually work.

7. Absolutely! And she woulda won the rest of the states fair and square if she was the only nominee..
She should have a new strategy - convince Obama to take his name off. Then all she has to do is win the uncommitted vote.

8. Why is anybody supporting these lying rat bastards
Everybody knew FL & MI wasn't going to count. What kind of conscience do people have when they can just overlook someone lying about elections, the very basis of our democracy.

17. Why is this even a question?
To even ask this question is to legitimize blatant and despicable arguments that somehow Michigan
counts--when all parties agreed pre-primary--that it wouldn't count--and knowing the ballot only included
two candidate names.

I'm so fucking sick of the Clintons dragging our party into the shitbox.

To watch as members of the Democratic party--justify and rationalize the behavior of the Clintons
is very surreal and sickening.

12. I heard that the only reason her name stayed on the ballot was due to late withdrawal paperwork
Anybody else hear this? She keeps saying that everybody else chose to take their names off, but she left her's on. WTF?

I voted uncommitted. I think its pretty sad to only beat uncommitted by 10%.

14. I think Dennis Kucinich may have filed too late, but I don't
know if Hillary Clinton used that excuse at the time. I think it was more of a "didn't bother" kinda deal. (Just by memory.)

27. It would be hard for her to say she tried...
when she is on record as saying that Obama took his off, and therefore she shouldn't be penalized for his choice.

16. Question...
If it were the other way around and Barack had "won" MI and Fl, would she be pushing for the delegates to be seated?

Would she be insisting that voters were being disenfranchised by not seating them?

Hmmmm I have my answer. Do you?

22. My 7 year old is more intelligent than 15% percent of DU'ers that took this poll....
My wife and I tested her on the basic premise of "fairness" as would be involved in such a vote and she clearly understands it's not fair. It's not a political issue, it's an issue of common sense.

I don't understand HOW Obama, Edwards, and the others conspired to keep her name on the ballot.

Do you really believe this conspiracy theory?
