Obama speech better than his 2004 convention speech?
Wow is about all I can say.

This was absolutely one of the greatest specches ever.

Has a presidential candidate ever had a better speech? It is officially over now if it wasn't before.

10. If you ever have/had a child who did something wrong.......
did you disown that child for the deed? Or did you love the child and dispise the deed, knowing the two are different things?

9. This man MUST be elected President!!!
The truthfulness, confidence, and calmness that he brings to our country is what we have needed for a very long time. He is so very presidential. What a contrast with the Dancing Chimp in the White House now.

11. Don't know If I can compare
I heard similar themes but the context is so different. It was absolutely brilliant. He put out this message of holding people to high standards and having high expectations. I think people respond to that.
I have only read a few other presidential speeches. I don't think any compare to the 2004 convention speech and certainlt this one. The only one that comes close is JFK's speech on Catholicism.

15. The beauty of it is that the stage was set for an election
changing speech by Hillary's own advisers.

17. It was stunning... better than 2004 by alot
But his speech after Iowa was also better than 2004.

His speech after New Hampshire was better than after Iowa.

His speeck at Ebineezer Church on MLK day was better than his speech after New Hampshire.

I think this was his best speech ever. And the most important by a reasonable margin.

18. ask yourself why he had to give this speech....he gave this
speech to coverup the lies and because things were closing up around him and proven that he and his surrogates did play teh race card and race baited the clintons in january.....this was no great speech because the whoremedia will tell us all how great a speech it was and that by sunset it will be way better then dr kings speech and by morning it will be better then the jesus speech, the sermon on the mount......go back and ask why he had to give this speech...

obama is nothing more then a reprobate that does not need to become nothing more then a senator from ill. and sure as hell not to be the nominee.....
