Other than that is was soaring rhetoric but the substance was nothing we haven't heard from politicians for decades. The problem isn't his public rhetoric. The problem is his public rhetoric does not square with his private actions. He may have even exacerbated the hypocrisy issue by lecturing the nation on race when he could not live up to for 20 years what he know calls on the nation to do.

No politician has confronted the race issue in this country from BOTH perspectives in yrs, if ever.

I want to know WHAT ELSE HE IS EXPECTED TO SAY ABOUT WRIGHT??? And why there is not the same criticism made of Bush at Bob Jones Univ and the other politicians who want and get the support of RW racist preachers?
