How I Chose between Barack and Hillary
(after tossing them both under the bus so long ago)
Barack long ago told me that as a "Secularist" I was wrong to ask "believers" to check their religions at "the door" of the "public square."
He explained that his position on gay marriage (and who knows what else) was a direct result not of his sense of right and wrong, not of his understanding of the Constitution of the United States of America, but of his "faith."
And because I, as a "Secularist," have put my "faith" in the Constitution, I had to look elsewhere for a presidential candidate.
Don't get me wrong; people can believe whatever they want as long as I get to make fun of them. But if they want to work for me, in my government, under my Constitution, they must check their religions at "the door." My Constitution always comes first.
And even before Barack came along, Hillary told me that war (and who knows what else) is the business of the warmakers. She told me that I should put my "faith" in them, as did she, to do what is best. She told me that politics is not about the will of the people, not about transparency, not about me, not about the Constitution, but about putting "faith" in power brokers who make decisions in secret, behind closed doors, based on highly sensitive "intelligence" and the like.
Again I had to look elsewhere for a presidential candidate.
But the fact of the matter is that I never found one. I'm left to choose between Barack and Hillary.
I must either choose to fight a "faith"-based war against Barack, or surrender my "faith" to the likes of Hillary.
No-brainer.
I choose to fight for change. I will never surrender to the likes of Hillary.
