Then she turned back to why Democrats should choose her.

"The opportunity for America will be in choosing a president who will best solve the big challenges our country faces," she said.

Also, she took a little dig at speeches, in general. What matters, she said, isn't the quality of the speeches:

"It's whether the president delivers on the speeches."

It's not even the speech itself - it's the lack of occasion. He had to give it to quell a controversy.

Regardless of whether you like the candidate or not - the speech will be labeled historic and likely set the tone for future opportunity in this country as we move forward.
