I FIRMLY BELIEVE Mr. OBAMA WILL BE THE DEM NOMINEE.

Please tell me why I am not crazy for supporting Obama when so many people on this website have been HORRIBLE to Clinton. Saying they won't vote for her if she wins.

SHE WON'T.

Tell me why I shouldn't be upset at all you people who are tearing down the Clintons.

IT IS VERY HURTFUL.

I don't get it.

I'm gay and I will support Obama even though I think he threw me under the bus with McClurkin.

I will never understand why so many Dems (every race, orientation, gender, etc...) say they won't support the Dem nominee.

1. Yes, it is confusing. Both HRC and BO are close in policy and both ...
are FAR FAR better then 100-years McBush.

I support the DEM over the GOP. I prefer Clinton, but I will vote for any DEM over McSurge-bot.

5. It hurts..
Because I will support Obama till the end when he gets the nomination.

I don't understand people who say they will stay home.

I'm gay and I'd support ANY Democrat over a Republican. Are we not on DEMOCRATIC underground?

I'm gonna have a hard time believing all the people once Obama becomes the nominee and they want to reach their hand across the aisle.

It's gonna be hard to believe they mean it after all the hate.

I feel like I'm at FreeRepublic, not DU.

4. Most of those that won't vote for Obama if he is the nominee
have deep seated racist tendencies, or they are more aligned with the GOP. Good riddance to them.

7. I know what you are saying.
I was for Kucinich for Pres. until they axed him out of the picture. It took me a long time to commit to another candidate. I thought I went for Obama because of his take on the war in Iraq but he has really grown on me. I wish you well and am sorry that you have to go through this lingering campaign that at times has been very unpleasant. I will think good thoughts that if Obama gets the nomination that he will address your concerns to your satisfaction. Peace and love, Kim

11. I was edwards
but now I'm staunch Obama, I know if Clinton is the nominee I'll vote for her, but I hope she grows on me like Obama,
or in 2004 Kerry, or Gore in 2000, or Clinton in 92, This is the first genuine polarizing primary season for me

8. Obama supporter who says
you are exactly right. I have been ignoring any who tear down the candidate they do not favor.

Of course, I will vote for Hillary if she is the nominee, I am a Democrat.

9. "Saying they won't vote for her if she wins."
Really. Am I really to believe that you have read of no Clinton supporters who have said the same thing if Obama is the nominee? I certainly have, many times.

I, too, am a Democrat and will vote for the nominee of my party for president. It's too bad that so many people who call themselves Democrats who are not pragmatic enough or have enough common sense to understand that the next president will either be the Republican nominee McCain, or the Democratic nominee. Even if it is only a hair's difference I will always prefer the Democrat and will vote accordingly.

12. I'd probably support Hillary even if she stole the nomination
But I would not be happy about it. For once I'd like to have a nominee I can be proud of.

13. Thank you everyone so far... you made me feel good.
It's just hard to hear all the people who say they refuse to vote for Hillary.

All the people who have responded so far have given me faith in the Dem party.

YOU CAN BET YOUR ASS I WILL SUPPORT OBAMA WHEN HE WINS THE NOMINEE. HE WILL.

Thank you for all the gracious replies.

I honestly believe Mr Obama will win the Presidential election in '08... I just need to hear that the people on this board will vote for the Dem nominee no matter what. I DO NOT BELIEVE that Hillary Clinton is racist.
