in the good old USA so I can watch real news, along with my horrible Leafs hockey team.

9. Of the TV news channels, MSNBC sucks the least.
Edited on Tue Mar-18-08 06:19 PM by backscatter712
that's damning with faint praise, by the way.

MSNBC has its bright spots, like Olbermann, but then they crap themselves with their damned Doc Block programming. They need to completely axe Lockup, To Catch A Predator and all those interviews with Charles Manson.

Even with that, they still suck less than CNN or FAUX Noise.

As far as radio goes, I'll listen to AM760 most of the time (that's the Denver/Boulder area progressive talk station that carries mostly Air America programming.)

I'll also listen to Nova M occasionally, but the only way I can get it is by web stream - no AM stations in the area carry Nova M.

12. Real news comes from NPR, but analysis is fun to get from MSNBC
They don't take themselves too seriously, which is refreshing.
