I had accumulated a list of over 900 (nine hundred) people on ignore in between the 2004 and 2006 elections, and now I say that it is foolish to put people on ignore when you disagree with them, for two reasons:

1. You cannot alert their posts.
2. You cannot bother them with your responses.

Take it from a man who has been there and back. It is not a new trick anymore, and it does not work as well as letting them stay.
