12. Maybe you should ask Obama's spiritual advisor about hate
Remember? The guy Obama was forced to give a speech about in an attempt to save his run?

6. I agree that it is a risk
Can't quantify it and we must work against it. Those who blow it off are whistling past a graveyard in some respects. It may also add to the Tom Bradley factor

8. I get tired of people thinking the rest of America is dumb.
Like we're somehow not part of that America.

10. It's not a question of if, only when.
The Spitzer story blew his image to smithereens.

The obama freaks will be just as "surprised" about their golden idol as the nation was about Spitzer. He's a no talent rookie phony.

The unraveling will be a thing to behold if the press continues doing their job.

11. Here's the way I see it
If someone was on board with Obama until the Wright sermons came up, and changed because they were offended by them and NOT because they thought the issue made Obama a risky candidate, then I think their support was highly dubious anyway.

There is a known factor of shame; people sometimes will say they support an ethnic minority candidate to polls because they don't want anyone to think they're racist, but in the privacy of the voting booth, they'll vote differently. I think anyone who would abandon Obama because Wright offended them is that type of voter.

I have no idea how many such voters there are. That's the thing; they're hard to identify.

14. Preachergate **and** McClurkingate.
One incident might not turn off a person.

But the combination could be enough for some to a notice a pattern of getting involved/being associated with crazy ass religious people.
