I haven't seen very many politicians, in my life time, grab the bull by the horns, like Obama did.

I have been a skeptic of Obama in the past, not because of the man, but rather my own cynicism of politicians in general. He made a strong positive impact on me with his speech yesterday.

We live in such a bull shit culture where truth is very seldom approached head on, and that is exactly what Obama did. It's like a breath of fresh air. Before you can get rid of the darkness of ignorance, you must be willing to shine the light on it and Obama has one hell of a flash light.

I think that Obama has showed himself to be a person of character, a leader, and trust worthy.

Whether or not the voters will avail themselves of his leadership or go for more-of-same, time will tell. Regardless, I am very glad that Obama is who he is, is where he is, at this time in our nations history.
