I mean, come on, Jerry Falwell said more controversial things every morning before breakfast. James Dobson, Billy Graham. Those guys say things ten times more hateful at every sermon, and the media pretends they are holy and righteous. A black man makes a couple more factually accurate comments with a bit of fiery rhetoric to grab attention, and he's the devil!

So if submariner and his candidate are white, they'll be fine.
