1. Remember how he tried to take down Colbert?
I think he tried the same thing with Ellen? He is very uncomfortable if he is not in control and reacts irrationally.

2. He's like a 14-year-old kid who just got drunk for the first time.
He starts feeling everybody up, starting fights and yelling at everybody. He's a fucking embarrassment to the human race.

5. That's an excellent simile for Tweety.

He IS just like a 14-year old kid who just got drunk for the first time! I wish he would just throw up, pass out, and sleep it off.

9. Scarborough is the same too.
All the yelling pundits are like a bunch of high school varsity athletes at a tailgate party.

11. So true! And Bill O'Reilly is like their drunken sex predator faculty advisor.

14. Ugh.
The faculty advisor where I went to high school actually was rumored to have had "Roman hands and Russian fingers" when it came to the ninth-grade students, and it's waaaaaaaaaay too easy for me to see O'Reilley doing the same.

3. blame the nuns, I guess
They must have instilled a lot of self-guilt in his early days.

6. He's mentally ill.
He was probably a raving lunatic before the nuns ever even got to him. If it turned out that the first thing he did when he was born was bite the delivering doctor, it wouldn't surprise me one bit.

13. Oh lord truer words were never spoken. I would hazard a guess that
a great percentage of those folks on the therapist's couch came out of Catholic Schools. My virginity, my virginity!! Save at all costs, let the rest drown!! I exaggerate but am still close....lol.

17. I object to the notion that women (nuns) are somehow to blame for Tweety.
Tweety is to blame for Tweety. Only he can admit that he has a problem and get help.

7. Did you notice where his hand "accidentally" landed when she fell?
It brought to mind images that I'd rather not contemplate.

12. Tweety probably thinks that all Ellen needs is a "good man" to feel her up
and she'll suddenly be straight!

10. You must feel very lonely here on DU.
He's about as popular as Dick Cheney around these parts. You have my sympathy.

16. It is what it is. You don't have to agree with someone 100% of the time to respect them. n/t

18. I feel the opposite about Tweety. I sometimes agree with him
(even a blind nut sometimes finds a squirrel) but I never, ever respect him.

However, there are plenty of folks - including many here on DU - whom I respect even though I disagree with them.
