I have an issue with the term "popular vote" used to refer number of votes in the primary/caucus system, because caucuses inflate the numbers of candidates least favored by working people, who typically do not attend caucuses for obvious reasons.

The turnout in caucuses is in single digits, in terms of percentage of registered voters.
