I can remember checking this number every morning, hoping to see Obama in the lead at all. Finally, one early morning I clicked on RealClearPolitics, and joy of joys, he was up! (by less than a point, but I was thrilled.)

After Pastorgate - I watched it drop back to less than a point, then up a little yesterday - but +3 today! My faith in people is restored.

I spoke with my child's teacher in the parking lot yesterday about Obama, and her hesitation about Obama after watching O'Reilly (I know, I know) on his relationship with Wright. Surprisingly, this doubt was easy to erase with a quick conversation about context. People are looking for any excuse to like him again. They know in their gut he is the right answer at this time.

She hadn't seen his speeches on race or Iraq, but she promised she would check them out when she got home.

Whenever you find that Clinton is gaining, and the supporters for her, are they really Democrats or are they Republicans that don't want to see McCain debating Obama. I can't wait to see that, Obama will have McCain so messed up he won't be able to answer the question, or he would have forgotten the question.
