President McPain: Thanks to Media, Hillary, Wright, AND Obama !
Edited on Thu Mar-20-08 09:16 AM by Laura PackYourBags
Fuming.

Looking more like we could lose to the 100 Year War Man !

Thanks to:

1. Hillary! It is virtually mathematically impossible for her to win. LOOK yourself
play with the numbers - even if they add in what she got in FL and MI !
Delegate Calculator: http://www.slate.com/id/2185278/

Why would she stay in and praise McPain and trash Obama? The only answers I can think of are:
1) If I can't have it - he can't either
2) I want it in 2012

They say his numbers started falling opposite McPain when Hillary started chanting
"He's not ready." Why would you do that to your own party???

2. Wright! Why in the world would you put your protege at risk in this age
of instant video! Who turned those videos in, anyway? I never heard.

3. Obama! Why couldn't you have been Episcopalian? (just kidding) I read once that
if you were going to run for president, be Episcopal - the least
offensive religion.

4. Media! For showing these offensive clips of Wright over and over and over
and over again. Without asking: 1) who found these clips, and 2) and finding
some positive clips of sermons to show he's got a loving side too.

1. United Church of Christ is a white mainstream Christian denomination--there
is nothing wrong with Obama's religion. He just has a nutty old preacher friend. This was blown so out of proportion, it's insane.

2. Do you know where that video surfaced from? I never heard.
I also never heard when the video was taken. Was he still pastor then?

I was on a cruise last week and all they had on the ship was Faux News.
They had those videos on every single hour all week. The only diversion
was the Spitzer prostitute - but when they showed Wright they always
had her pic in the banner. Totally insane network - never knew how
insane until I was forced to see so much of it.

Anyway, still pissed at Wright! How totally devastating it would
be for something like this to ruin the dream of having O in the WH.

4. I believe the church released them--they are selling his sermons, so

anyone can buy them. So of course, the RW went through hours and hours to find two of the most offensive minutes. But the RW has been working on this for some time--since last winter, in fact. That's why Hillary stayed in--she knew about this, and hoped it would wreck Obama. I honestly don't care that someone's old black preacher is sometimes angry at the white power structure in this country--I can't imagine anything less important this year. Obama gave an award-winning speech about it, and that's pretty much the end of my interest in this whole topic.

5. I understand. Wonder why no one has found some GOOD segments
to show. Maybe O's team can dig up some loving pieces and leak them to the press. Nah,
the less said the better, I guess.

7. Andrew Sullivan had the entire "Audacity of Hope" sermon up on his
website a few days ago--the sermon that so inspired Obama. It was beautiful. But we'll never see the good stuff, just the bad.

3. No... thanks to the Media
still waiting for the media to cover Hagee and two other religious right wing extremists he has personally aligned himself with. Nah... there's no media bias there.
