I'm of the mind that the speech will not stand on it's own. It was delivered mid-day, and didn't stay in the news cycle for long enough to expose enough people. 2-million hits on YouTube isn't enough either - especially considering it's a 40-minute speech that really drives it home near the end, but many may not have gotten all the way through.

Contrast this with a :20 clip of Wright humping a podium, and you'll see what we're up against in the controlling-the-message department.

We need an easily-consumable soundbyte clip that captures the essense of Obama's speech to circulate around. People really really need to see this, but most people aren't political geeks like us - it's not an easy sell in its raw form.
