1. It wasn't his accent and demeanor for me. I used to live in the UK.
It was his acute articulateness that was in such sharp contrast to what we had.

2. Hmm ... I recall Blair's popularity in the U.S. being especially high pre-9/11...
like, during the Clinton years.

4. Blair was BADLY ADVISED by Bill Clinton, who urged standing with Bush on terrorism & Iraq war
just as he urged DC Dems to do the same and used what he CLAIMED he knew about Iraq and info he accessed as president.

I believe Clinton EXAGGERATED the intel he saw to convince Dems it WAS a bigger problem than they knew. Just like Bush.

5. I kind of think the UK has been a major player in the terror scam

from the get go. They basically went bankrupt after WWII and lost what was left of their empire, including their oil interests in the Middle East, and ever since they've been using "diplomacy" -- propaganda, fake intelligence, and fake terra -- to manipulate the rest of the world into helping them get it back. The '53 Mossadeq coup is a good example. When Mossadeq nationalized the Anglo-Iranian petro operation, now BP, Britain couldn't take him out, so they convinced Eisenhower (apparently Truman refused) to let the CIA do it for them.

6. True - BCCI proved that, but I believe Blair wasn't fully on board himself till after 9-11.
And was much more easily convinced by someone like Clinton than he was by Bush - at the time.

8. Yes I think it's possible Blair is a complete stooge
and was kept in the dark. But others weren't. Remember Fergie? Apparently she had an appointment in the Trade Center on 911 that she was late for. How convenient would that have been? And when Philip and Camilla toured the US a few years back (Diana conveniently having passed from the scene) one of their first stops was Battery Park where they "paid their respects" to the remains of the towers he'd always loathed.
