Hillary Clinton is completely correct about this:
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/20/us/politics/20memo.html?_r=4&hp=&oref=slogin&adxnnlx=1205978784-DYODfocUf%20PREVvCwoyFsg&pagewanted=print&oref=slogin&oref=slogin&oref=slogin

Mrs. Clinton’s advisers said they had spent recent days making the case to wavering superdelegates that Mr. Obama’s association with Mr. Wright would doom their party in the general election.

It's clear to all but the 'true believers' that the more voters learn about Obama, the less likely they'll be to vote for him in the general election.

I'll vote for whoever we nominate, but I Hope it'll be a candidate that can beat McCain, and not just some passing fad.

2. Hillary is appealing to the basest emotions. It is sickening.
I find people like Hillary, willing to throw principles away in the service of their goal, disgusting.

The ends justify the means.

That's what separates us from the bad guys.

3. Your candidate lost a 30 point lead
to that "passing fad" in a terribly planned, terribly organized campaign run by a team that for most of it couldn't get out of its own way. Even if Hillary were a much better candidate her organization stinks and her husband has proven to be a liability. And she will do far more to energize the Republican base than McCain could ever possibly do.

I'm not so sure you have the 'electability' thing going for you, even with Wright.

5. Actually the right wing is just waiting to bring up Bill's blow job.
And I think Hillary is taking a big chance loving McCain so much and going after Obama like she has.

Too many skeletons in old Bill's closet, and the right wing will not leave it alone.

If they continue to crush Obama this way in the media....with Hillary's help....then many who saw another media crushing in 2004 will consider staying home in November.
