1. I don't believe he's up for reelection this year
I think he was reelected in 2006.

3. Janet Napolitano has expressed interest.
She's getting termed out as governor in Az and is looking at it as a next step.

Though I'm personally hoping she's picked up as a VP by Obama.

5. Yep, and she endorsed Obama.
Politically a lot of people are saying it would be a good move, as it might help to appease feminists upset at losing a chance for a female president. A female VP would not only be the next best thing, but it would place her in an EXCELLENT position for a 2016 run at the top spot (historically, the best way to become president is to be the previous administrations VP).
