Why is Hillary attacking the Wright issue now?
Today we are learning that Hillary is now going after Wright as well as being reported both by ABC and MSNBC, apparently a week of solid pounding by the media wasn't enough for her. Meanwhile, McCain has spoken out against it.

I don't care how anyone spins this thing, she is playing 100% by the republican handbook at the expense of the democratic party. I gave her credit for staying out of it and even started a new thread giving her kudos but now I am really disappointed that she's choosing to push this now that it's at least been stalled.

Make no mistake, this woman is only looking out for herself, not the will of the people that she's ignored to acknowledge in states that she's lost, not even the will of the people who have voted for her. Her only goal is to win using tactics that only rival those of Rove and Hannity. Democrats, true democrats who believe in our party must stand up against this type of campaigning.

1. So McCain can look even better by comparison by not touching the issue?
That's the only thing I can conclude. I guess she really would rather hand the election to the GOP than see Barack get it.

2. Now? Conservatives have been attacking Obama for the past several days.
That strategy was decided days, if not weeks ago.

7. She wants to keep it in the news...insidious...that's why she's going to lose
She knows the story is getting weaker day by day so she wants to keep it in there. Obama should just ignore her...too bad the media probably won't.

9. Rev. Wright Is To Be Honored - I Think Next Week By Some Group......
if the HRC campaign is still fueling the fire on the videos that they keep showing - this doing next week will give them additional mileage out of the issue. Instead of letting it die - they will fan the flames and keep it burning. It's apparent to me that the HRC campaign has decided - if Hillary can't get the nomination - they'll do anything in their power to see that Obama loses in Nov so she can have a shot at the presidency again in 2012.

I just hope the Dean and superdelegates can see through this facade being put out there by Hillary and does something to put an end to it. For the good of the party this has to stop.

So desperate are they that she went into Mich yesterday to lobby for the re-vote. She probably did herself more harm than good though. Now she is using 'civil rights' and the fact that if she doesn't win that the whole Dem primary system is questionable.

This is just underhanded and disingenuous. She agreed to the rules and you don't change them because you are losing.

Almost like the Patriots coming back now and saying that all points scored in the 4th quarter shouldn't count - so they could win the Superbowl.

10.  Hillary attacking the Wright issue "??? - nothing on news or google - she was asked
if any of her supporters were discussing Wright with others - and she shrugged (did not deny is the screamimg headline) - she said she and her campaign would say nothing about Wright.

Sounds like Obama is doing the race card thing again - searching for a supporter of Hillary that has said something about Wright so he can play the victim again.
