Watergate Redux: What Did They Do & When Did They Do It & So Forth
And for those who think this is stretching it, KO just brought this up while I was typing. A break-in is a break-in is a break-in and history keep repeating itself.

2. Nominated.
The State Department provides official cover for people who have all types of interesting backgrounds. Some are career public servants, others are contractors.

3. The dates
indicate that the "cover story" that these were just some curious fellows is full of baloney.

5. From the mid-60s on.
This should be eye-opening to all democrats, and other Americans of good will.

8. Two things:
Rice didn't find out until yesterday.
The Inspector General didn't find out until today.

9. Really This Is So Big
It will grow to the size of a hot air balloon.

2 thoughts: Interesting that they informed the Senator and his people the night before Good Friday and the Easter weekend. Did they think that would diffuse it and its impact?

I also wonder if this points to who the GOP fears most as a candidate, the result of internals.

10. This is the type
of scandal that should bring all real democrats together. If they are spying on Obama, they are spying on many other democrats. Of course, they also spied on Ambassador Joseph Wilson and his wife.

This is the same thing.

11. For whom?
I was watching the story on KO and my wife asked what what so intense.

I told her and she said, who did it? I said "a contractor."

Her response, "For whom?"

The question was rhetorical.

The contractor angle is a beard.

There's more;)

12. The official story is a lie from the state department
Why wasn't Obama notified after the first incident which was identified, contained, investigated and the individual punished?

How about the next month, second incident identified, contained, investigated and a second individual punished?

Finally, third month, third incident identified, contained, investigated, a third person who is disciplined ... "we don't think any of the individuals disseminated any information but we can't say for sure ...." It already stinks.

18. And The Biggest Criminal We Know Is?
So now it seems all the frontrunners' files have been breached, though I don't know that I'm buying the McSame angle. Who benefits? Obviously the Cons have a gain here. And if it is true about McSame who benefited? Romney, Thompson. I'm not forgetting that one of the biggest salespersons for the war, who worked out of the veep's office was Matalin, she who headed Thompson's campaign. As for Romney, Comstock was one of his big backers, she who is counted among Scooter's nearest and dearest. Do all roads lead to he of the famous SO? quote.

Particularly the links to the Clinton campaign. Not saying she's involved -- that I know of.

19. K&R. IMO the 1st "they" is L Feinstein, HRC Natl Security Director, who seems to have USED
data from Obama's passport file in constructing a brazen online "Commander-in-Chief Test" for Hillary's opponent. Question #5 on that test (see http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x5187442 ) seems to be absolutely certain that Obama had "traveled to only one NATO country, on a brief stopover trip in 2005" and had "NEVER traveled to Latin America".

This online "test" question went up two days before the third illicit access of Obama's passport file. Further, the "Obama in Muslim garb OVERSEAS" photo that Drudge intimated came from an HRC sources apparently went out to the world three days after the SECOND access.

IMO one of the most important questions in the investigation of "PassportGate2" has to be asked of Lee W. Feinstein. Exactly HOW did he know enough about Obama's complete LIFETIME travel schedule to speak so confidently about NEGATIVE travel?

And an answer would be helpful. My money is on it being on an inside job, though there may be many twists and turns before the truth has a chance of seeing the light of day.

21. Another question for Feinstein: When's the last time you spoke to Maura Harty (NOT
"Mata Hari"), the guardian of passport data who just retired? Feinstein was a top aide to Bill Clinton;s Secy of State while Harty worked there.
