73. He won't b/c he is pushing a LIE. Read the LK transcripts.
OBAMA said AFTER the comments came to light i the media he spoke with Wright and voided is disapproval.

KING: A couple of other things in that area. Have you have had any communication with the reverend since all of this?

OBAMA: Well, you know, I haven't. He was actually -- because, as I said, he preached his last sermon. He is on sabbatical. He went to take a cruise. He was not available by phone. You know, I had spoken to him earlier when some of these sermons first came to light.

I had spoken to him earlier and told him that, you know, I was uncomfortable and objected strongly to some of these statements. But that, you know, obviously he had played an important part in bringing me to my faith, and that I hoped our relationship would continue.

I haven't talked to him since that time. And I'm sure that, you know, he has a lot to think about, given the firestorm that has erupted over time. And you know, I suspect that I will talk to him at some point, to get his feelings on the issue.

KING: We'll take a look at the other side of the coin when we come back. Our guest is Senator Barack Obama of Illinois on this edition of LARRY KING LIVE. Don't go away.

84. The biggest lie in my opinion as a constituent of Obama's
was his "terrorist speech" on CSPAN. He spread fear instead of being a "fearless leader". We all know Iraq did not attack us on 911. Fact is we still don't know for sure who did 911 since they won't allow the investigation or discussion.

One after the other of Congress get up and give this "terrorist fear" speech on the floor of Congress. Yet they won't impeach or answer the questions of 911 families. Why is that?

15. You do realize, don't you that Rev. Wright's name has come up several times before.
Obama denounced some controversial statements a while ago.

That Obama talked to the Reverend about "some" statements does not mean that they were the statements that have been played over and over in the media. Obama said that he had not heard those particular statements and has said nothing to contradict this.

Interview from Thursday March 13...

Q: I don't know if you've seen it, but it's all over the wire today (from an ABC News story), a statement that your pastor (the Rev. Jeremiah Wright of Trinity United Church of Christ on Chicago's South Side) made in a sermon in 2003 that instead of singing "God Bless America," black people should sing a song essentially saying "God Damn America."
A: I haven't seen the line. This is a pastor who is on the brink of retirement who in the past has made some controversial statements. I profoundly disagree with some of these statements.

40. It would be funny that
people make a big deal of details they think they remember of what he said on this

Except over last days we have proof Clinton lied about her part in getting SCHIP passed that she has been campaigning on...they had to fight Clinton's to even get is signed.

She lied about supporting NAFTA in white house years. She's been campaigning saying Obama lied about her support because of a newspaper quote that had actually just paraphrased and telling people Obama misled about his position too when she knows he did not-
And she lied, she worked to get it passed!

Two of her main campaign stump bragging points and they are proven lies...

But oh my, maybe Obama is saying he said something when maybe he said he didn't earlier because you can read his mind...Cause that's what counts.

42. He wrote about one such objection in his 1996 book
Obama's first book, Dreams from My Father, recounts an exchange he had with Wright over black middleclassness. A church secretary was planning a move to the suburbs so her son could have a better life. Wright's response was: "That boy of hers is gonna get out there and won't have a clue about where, or who, he is." Obama defended the secretary, suggesting that the boy would be safer outside the inner city. Wright replied, "Life's not safe for a black man in this country, Barack. Never has been. Probably never will be." Black flight, Wright seemed to be saying, is no better for those who flee than for those who are left behind.

83. Rev. Wright has a right to his opinions.
Obama can object and not attend that church. Facts are...Rev. Wright was right on about 911, etc. that's what Obama objects to most since he is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Rev. Wright should not be a member of the Obama campaign if he believes what he says. His spiritual group and other organizations are the place for that. He is not running for public office. Being a spiritual leader he could lose his tax free exemption.

that he has heard other statements that could be considered potentially controversial and HAS had conversations with Rev. Wright about concerns regarding certain views and statements. He IS being consistent doing the best to recall what has transpired. Let's cut a person a little slack here, especially when this is mainly just corporate right wing biased MSM-generated crap to try to crap on the Obama candidacy to get Hillary nominated because they think McCain will have a better chance of running against Hillary. 72. You're totally underestimating the damage Obama has done to himself.
Obama put this man on his campaign all the while calling himself Uniter. Obama's words and actions are dysfunctional, disconnected. The media is now on to this. He's actually been given a lot of slack up to about a week ago.

51. Didn't you learn that typing in ALL CAPS is obnoxious?
Apparently you either don't know or don't care, suggesting that you're either 12 years old or just have that level of maturity.

69. Obama lied and the media props this po bastard up more:
Until yesterday, Obama said the only thing controversial he knew about Rev. Wright was his stand on issues relating to Africa, abortion and gay marriage.

Obama's initial reaction to the initial ABC News broadcast of Rev. Wright’s sermons denouncing the U.S. was that he had never heard his pastor of 20 years make any comments that were anti-U.S. until the tape was played on air.

Here is the proofof the lie: Tuesday, Obama told a different story. “Did I ever hear him make remarks that could be considered controversial while I sat in church? Yes,” he said in his speech Tuesday in Philadelphia.

IF Obama is going down, some people might even be glad she stayed in this race. The whoremedia and the Obama people think he hit a big home run with that last speech, but some people are saying he dodged the issue and "stuck with the crazy hater."Maybe this is why we have super-delegates. What if Obama leads in the delegate count, but is unelectable because of this anti-whites scandal?

79. You've nailed the problem.

It's a good thing HRC is in this race. And people keep forgetting that neither of them will go to the Convention having a lead that automatically gives them the nominee spot. If this Wright story has legs, which it seems to have, he'll be unelectable and the party will not shoot itself in the foot by making him the nominee.

check this:
"The Speech: A Brilliant Fraud
snip

But that is not the question. The question is why didn't he leave that church? Why didn't he leave -- why doesn't he leave even today -- a pastor who thundered not once but three times from the pulpit (on a DVD the church proudly sells) "God damn America"? Obama's 5,000-word speech, fawned over as a great meditation on race, is little more than an elegantly crafted, brilliantly sophistic justification of that scandalous dereliction.

His defense rests on two central propositions: (a) moral equivalence and (b) white guilt."
snip
But Obama was supposed to be new. He flatters himself as a man of the future transcending the anger of the past as represented by his beloved pastor. Obama then waxes rhapsodic about the hope brought by the new consciousness of the young people in his campaign. Then answer this, Senator: If Wright is a man of the past, why would you expose your children to his vitriolic divisiveness? This is a man who curses America and who proclaimed moral satisfaction in the deaths of 3,000 innocents at a time when their bodies were still being sought at Ground Zero. It is not just the older congregants who stand and cheer and roar in wild approval of Wright's rants, but young people as well. Why did you give $22,500 just two years ago to a church run by a man of the past who infects the younger generation with precisely the racial attitudes and animus you say you have come unto us to transcend?

77. I'm watching the replay of the show. He's obfuscating again.
Sample:
On Wright:
King:"Has this hurt your campaign?"
BO: Long "answer": ... we can invest in clean energy... we can educate our kids... this is an uncomfortable issue... the American poeople will judge me on my record... etc.

He never answered the damn question! Like what's wrong with a yes or no? He's deflecting again. The suspected real answer/ what was he thinking: It's killing my campaign.

Larry King: How will you do in PA?
BO: ...A real struggle... a popular governor with Clinton... we're scrappy... we can do very well... we work very hard in all of them... hopefully we'll be very successful... etc.

I have to get the written transcript of this interview; in about 2 days they put these transcripts up.
