Obama can talk about typical whites. Obama can talk about typical blacks
He may make a gaffe in the process, but he has the moral authority to do so, since he is both black and white.

People try to make generalizations about their group all the time, and nobody bats an eyelash.

Please save the fake outrage. The repugs are laughing all the way to the bank.

through dealings with their parents' families. Or at least, the ones that I know.

I'm not stepping there, cause I don't KNOW their experience. But they know they are loved by THIS aunt.

7. He has had intimate connections and r'ships in both the black and white community.
This is a gift and gives all of us a unique vision into each other's worlds. Rather than be offended and defensive about it, we need to shut up and listen for a change.
