This swiftboating has gone on unchecked because our greatest attack dog, Dean, is tied up
in this whole re-vote farce that Clinton is forcing on the party. Has anyone else noticed that?

1. The Hillbots probably hate him too. They hate everyone now. Everyone is against them.

2. Yes. It's time for Dr Dean to tell her to kiss his ass
and take care of more important business because the Party is about to lose all the fresh new blood, Independents and Progressives who want to help it elect a better candidate.

That's Hillary's aim so she can go back to the same ugly polarization that seesaws between Bush Clinton Clinton Bush Bush Clinton Clinton Chelsea

3. I have a question (newperson) I'll repost it till someone addresses it I guess

Why are the most sleazy... lurid... incendiary... defamatory...anti-Obama threads, some with clear racist undertones...

CONSTANTLY booted up to the top so it looks like the majority of DUers are anti-Obama?

Is this a freeper invasion?

Are they "gaming the board" somehow?

How is that done?

I have noticed some of the people with the most inexplicable allegiance to Clinton, considering her historical Bush complicity... have posted here forever... OLD DUers

I mean, are progressives welcome here? or is this just some primary campaign phenomenon?

4. I believe its freepers
I can't explain the old DUers actions, however. It is strange and I do see the bumping of anti-Obama threads as just another stupid tactic.

11. WHY AREN'T THE MODS TOMBSTONING THE FREEPERS?!
It's damned obvious to me what they're pulling.

This is Democratic Underground, not Freeper Underground. If they're pulling tactics designed to stir the shit, they need to be tombstoned. If they come back with more sock puppets, they need to be IP banned.

Why aren't the mods on top of this?

5. All of the above. It will clear once we have our candidate.
Welcome to DU, cranky. I'm sorry about this cr@p.

6. Thanks... lol... Maybe I just needed a hug
I'm a big boy

I just don't understand that though...

Why are they behaving like Republicans?

I understand the temptation to respond in kind... it's human nature

But Obama has become a role model for me.. (cranky old guy)

I'm TRYING to behave myself

God knows I have a litany of Clinton horrors to post and have so far, refrained.

THANK you TWO

7. I know. But the way to clear up confusion quickly is to do a poll
I was shocked at how few HRC supporters are actually here, yet they make the most noise by far.

10. They tag-team OPs now that there is an OP limit in order to keep the divisiveness going
and unfortunately their garbage keeps getting kicked to the top by those who honestly try to defend Obama but who unfortunately feed the trolls.

8. Now you know why Obama was desperate to crush clinton in ohio/texas
He wanted her out of the way so that when this stuff eventually hit, he would have the vast resources of the democratic party at his disposal and folks would be forced to rally around him regardless (like they did with kerry).

Now, with clinton still in the race, he's on his own.

Now we have a chance to figure out what this guy is really made of. If he can hack it, then he deserves to win.

12. Like they rallied around Kerry?????
The attacks on Kerry were 100% despicable lies - had it happened in the primaries all democrats, in fact all people of good conscience should have defended him. By the way, the SBVT hit twice in spring - and the Kerry PRIMARY team swatted them away.

Think of what they did - no matter what you think of Kerry's politics or personality. He risked his 25 year old life to save another and he served his country. Those creeps literally questioned if he was "wounded enough". Think about that I assume his parents, siblings, fiancee and many friends - not to mention himself preferred not being hit at all.

9. Sorry but Dean has always been more heat than light
he wasnt tied up when the original swift boating was taking place and I dont recall him saying a peep to defend Kerry.

He cant really take sides now because regardless of what you think this is still pretty much a 50-50 tie.

Dean has totally fucked up this whole primary, his punishment of not seating Mich and Florida will go down as one of the greatest political blunders if we do not win the GE.
