What happened on the much anticipated Leno appearance? I gather he didn't endorse anyone. Is that correct?

3. No, He was very complimentay to both and stressing this needs to be over.

To be honest I never bought the rumors of an Edwards Clinton endorsement just doesn't make political sense on a lot of levels.

He could be a great help to the Democrats in this regard, but he has remained silent.

7. It's not just the race issue he's been quiet on.

He's trying to stay out of it IMO. His candidacy is over, it's past the time for him to be involved. His silence is appropriate.

9. I don't agree

He has said that civil rights and racial reconciliation are the "causes of my life." That does not go away just because the political campaign is over.

He could be doing an enormous amount of good by speaking up about this issue and helping people better understand. Instead, Obama's been left out there on his own to try to explain and teach black and white folks, while Clinton is ducking the issue altogether (not that I blame her since one misstep or careless word and she gets dragged down, too). John Edwards could make a real difference here - not a political difference, but a social one - but he hasn't said a word.
