The nominating rules aren't hard to understand
I cannot understand why the Obama and Clinton supporters are having such a hard time interpreting the rules of the Democratic convention. It's real simple. The rule says that the candidate who gets 2025 delegate votes is the winner.

Has Obama gotten 2025 delegates ? No. Has Clinton ? No. Will either have won that many when the primaries are over ? No. What does that make Obama and Clinton have in common with Edwards, Biden and Kucinich ? They are also losers, that's what. They have failed to get the number required.

So now both camps are saying that the one with the MOST votes should get the nomination. That's not what the rule says.

What the Democratic Party needs to do is look around and see if there is a person in the wings who can carry the party to victory in November. It's obvious that neither of these candidates can do it. I'd suggest a movement to draft Gore. The sooner the better.

Why did Kuchinich, Edwards, Richardson, etc. all drop out already?

They didn't have 2025, because mathematically they could never reach that number. However according to you they should still be in the race until ever primary is done.

Does that make sense to you?

It is an impossibility for Hillary to mathematically win so why again is she still in this race throwing everything but the kitchen sink at our NOMINEE?

What this really boils down to in its most disgusting truth is that Hillary supporters would rather the super delegates supersede the peoples choice just so she could be President. I find it ugly and I want no part of it in my party.
