We should assume Clinton had nothing to do with Obama Passport Breach
Edited on Fri Mar-21-08 10:12 AM by Armstead
I am opposed to Hillary Clinton.

However, I find it very hard to believe her campaign had anything to do with this.

Unless actual facts prove otherwise, any speculation that she had anything to do with it is, IMO, inappropriate, to say the least.

2. Personally, I think the GOP is behind it.... because they fear Obama....
...

But that doesn't mean they wouldn't have passed on some of the information to Mark Penn....

23. Likely the GOP has got all the Clinton tax returns by now too - saving them for the fall
Given the endemic corruption of all the administrative agencies under the Bush administration, and the arrogant behavior of Cheney & Rove (officially gone, but he could have grabbed these records a year ago) - I am pretty darn confident that the powers that be in the Bush administration/GOP campaign have had many months to do opposition research re the Clinton returns.
So just give em up now, HRC.

25. I saw his show last night,
and I didn't get that impression at all. I felt his only blame right now was with the incompetence of the State Department in not reporting a breach that happened three different times beginning in JANUARY, for God's sake.

5. Reserving judgment. The only reason the Moonie Times would break this story is if it made a Democrat
Edited on Fri Mar-21-08 10:16 AM by Tatiana
look bad. It seems unlikely that they would have broken this story if the GOP/Bush was involved.

Condi pledging to get to the bottom of this? Please. The administration that hates investigations now pledging to investigate?

Think about it. They'd only investigate if they knew they would in no way be implicated.

29. I agree, her campaign is one of several suspects, of course bu there is no proof at this time.
It could have been Republican operatives looking for dirt.

It could have been someone paid by the Clinton campaign.

It could have been partisan Republicans or Clintonites looking for dirt but without the knowledge or approval of anyone in the campaign.

It could have been a couple of boneheads looking for dirt to sell to the highest bidder--even the National Enquirer.

It could have been a couple of boneheads looking for dirt out of sheer curiosity.

We don't know--but hopefully we will find out.
