Some of these people are really into FAKE outrage. Clinton supporters, especially ones in blue collar areas will have you believe that they've never heard friends, pastors, co-workers, family members ever say anything that was racially divisive.

That Obama explained that his grandmother, like his pastor used language that he didn't agree with was his way of being HONEST and transparent about his life. Remember, he wrote two books about HIS life.

This generation doesn't mind airing it out, talking over the differences. Us young people seem to want our country back from the likes of the Bushs, McCains and Clintons. These people are caught in a time warp where racism and disenfranchisement is okay. It's not okay with me. Words as well as actions account for something and Obama is willing to change the landscape for the better.

Clinton's candidacy is about keeping the status quo in place, looking backwards. Who wants to look backwards when forward thinking should be the dominant progressive route to a better today and a better tomorrow?

Thats funny. I would call it was a painfully honest use of personal experience to highlight our hypocrisy when it comes to the issue of race. The fact that we all get worked up when there are racial remarks said in public settings, when we all know that such sentiments are expressed in private by people we care for is one of the biggest hurdles to honest dialog about race in this country.

The fact that you view a public official as finally speaking on something we all know is happening, but pretend to ignore as "selling out" speaks volumes on were we are as a nation when it comes to race (not to mention public discourse as a whole).
