didn't really help much. They make up about 1 in 5 on DU and yet they generate about 2 to 1 in chatter (IMHO). I have been taking part in the site less and less and just cannot wait for it to be over so the discussions can get back to issues instead of manufactured BS like it has been for a few months now.

If Hillary supporters have left, they are no longer part of DU, correct? Therefore, the poll is a snapshot of 'where DU stands'. It's not rocket science.

55. The "ignore" function, for one reason.

Internet polls should never to be thought of as accurate assessments of where people actually stand, then when you factor in the ignore function at DU it gets even more unreliable. If the poll were posted by someone who we knew wasn't being ignored by anyone, it would be a bit more accurate.

All posted by different people. All within a couple percentage points of the same results.

I think that statistically speaking, the influence of the 'ignore' feature that you are talking about is pretty insignificant.

I don't have anyone left on the ballot worth compromising for, and my primary isn't for another 2 months.

If, 2 months down the road, it looks like the race is still too close to call, I may vote for whomever is behind, to try to keep it even enough to force a brokered convention, with the goal being to end up with neither. That's the only compromise I'm willing to make at this point.
