Special MSM Rules for Obama. Rev. Hagee - Republican ties exposed on 12/04/07
Edited on Fri Mar-21-08 12:31 PM by autorank

I wrote "Minister of Death" on December 4, 2007 and nailed down the Huckabee-Hagee connection.

Rev. Hagee is so far out, you need a space shuttle to reach him.

Now the strange Rev. Hagee endorses McCain.

• Where was MSM in December?

• Why didn’t they bring out Hagee’s violent religion and associate Huckabee with it?

• Huckabee endorsed this madness. Why didn't he have to apologize?

• McCain and his staff knew all this about Hagee when they took the endorsement.

• Why isn't McCain being called to answer?

Why does McCain get to embrace these ideas and get away with it but Obama gets slandered through guilt by association when he rejects the negative statements of his minister?

When will McCain be asked to explain why he knowingly endorsed a minister who wants massive death just reach his reward. What kind of faith is this?

One of his strongest supporters, millionaire TV preacher Rev. John Hagee, agrees with Huckabee on the urgency of fighting Islam. Hagee also offers a version of the "End Times" from the Book of Revelations, one shared by other Huckabee supporters on the religious right. These include the influential publisher of apocalyptic prophesy Strang Communications. The Strang newsletter, New Man, endorsed Huckabee saying, "When it comes to faith, he is truly one of our own."

The key action starts when Russia invades Israel. The United States fails to defend Israel and is punished by seeing both coasts nuked. A European anti-Christ emerges and does battle with the second coming of Jesus. There's death and destruction on a global scale. All but a very few are cast into Hell. Hagee's Jesus then rules a world of true believers in an earthly paradise despite the bi-coastal U.S. nuclear holocaust.

When asked about the "End Times" scenario, Huckabee indicated that "every generation" prepares for the End Times, which "could be" occurring right now.

From Mike Huckabee: Minister of Death Dec. 4, 2007 “Scoop”

3. They think we're so stupid.
Like, maybe we won't notice the obvious association by McCain and the blatant inconsistency.

With a hame like that, you will be very busy for a long time.

10. That is why McCain
couldnt really touch the topic of "Pastorgate" against Obama in the GE. He has a kooky uncle in the closet.

7. I hadn't learned of this quotation until this morning,
Edited on Fri Mar-21-08 12:45 PM by stellanoir
that should have been shouted from every rooftop across this country over the last week.

"Listen to what King said about the Vietnam War at his own Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta on Feb. 4, 1968: "God didn't call America to engage in a senseless, unjust war. . . . And we are criminals in that war. We've committed more war crimes almost than any nation in the world, and I'm going to continue to say it. And we won't stop it because of our pride and our arrogance as a nation. But God has a way of even putting nations in their place." King then predicted this response from the Almighty: "And if you don't stop your reckless course, I'll rise up and break the backbone of your power.""

Lord knows the corporate media wouldn't expose the obvious hypocrisy.

Dolts.

The imaginary Ipod in my cranium to which I oft refer shuffles to Dylan's "What's a sweetheart like you doing in a dump like this. . .?" Wherein he sings "Patriotism is the last refuge to which a scoundrel clings. . ."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ht-CJTvVGmo

The double standards are truly mind numbing, strangely, as if by design.

hmmmmmmm

K & R'd as always.

And hey you didn't respond to my "Wise Ass" accusation yesterday. I was terribly saddened. LOL

18. Consider trying one of these great products

because you know. . . panic, hyperactivity, and garbled speech are in essence their own rewards.

Just look at our fearful leader.

Or maybe then again. . .not.

8. Wash Post Coverage of Hagee endorsing McCain

http://tinyurl.com/26ntul

"But with little doubt about McCain becoming the nominee, conservatives have begun to flock to his side. Asked what McCain could do to appeal to other religious conservatives, Hagee said he was confident McCain's support for abortion restrictions and Israel would help."

Feb 27 - and no mention about any of Hagee's violent visions and his perversion of Christianity.

12. I wish people wouldn't use that word.
But HEY it's accurate or not on a factual basis ... what was the Iraq Embargo if not the destruction of a people simply becaue of their nationality - 1.3 million dead Iraq men, women, children. But that is a part of the co-presidency that we never hear about. I had a comment along these lines pulled at Huffington and complained. Nada, zip, nothing... Gotta watch these "libruls"

16. You would think that MSM would use Moyers as a "feed"
for the really important stuff. But nooooo.... check out the link to the WaPost
article above. It's a joke. Nothing at all about Hagee being so far out and
offensive.

Amazing. Thanks for the link.

19. I'm pretty consistently amazed that PBS, CPB & NPR are so rarely cited at DU.
Shows like Moyers, Frontline, Independent Lens, Gwen Iffel's show, News Hour, BBC - all top notch stuff with reliable information and very little spin. Yet is seems everyone here watches some guy named Olbermann.

27. Someone tried to bring up Hagee on one of the shows today and was told: "We've got to be careful ..
we're walking a fine line when we start attacking ministers." And kind of tamped down the discussion.

So, white pastor - off limits, NOW we draw the line.

Wright - still fair game, full tilt boogie.

28. How about a minister that has all of us dead in the "End Times"
and I guarantee you that nobody on any show we'll ever watch, even Faux, will make it into the
survivor column in the Hagee end of the world scenario.

What a bunch of stooges. You remember the show, the network.
