Poll question: How Much Of A Risk Is It For Richardson To Endorse Obama?
Is Richardson stepping out on a limb here or not?

1. Coming after Wright's character assassination- pretty damned risky. The Clintons are vindictive

3. They should have said that they knew Wright, that they invited him to the WH--
they should have defended him and Obama--she would have gone up 100% in my eyes as a person with some class and honor. Instead, she allowed the media and the GOP to tear both men down, and stood back and smiled, and whispered to the superdelegates: "You see? I'm more electable! No angry black men here!" Used Wright when they needed a photo op in 1998, discarded him when they were through.

4. There is lore that
once you piss off the Clintons, you're dead to them. HOWEVER, I thought that they and James Carville had parted ways and he's back in the fold, so .

It's probably risky for anyone to endorse EITHER candidate when the outcome is so uncertain. I don't imagine anyone would have warm feelings about someone who endorsed the opponent.

5. Carville Pissed Off The Clintons?
Were they upset by his claim that we lost the 2006 elections because of Dean's "Rumsfeldian" incompetence?

13. I have absolutely nothing to back up my statement --
For some reason I just seem to remember that hearing that he was no longer in their good graces. I also seem to recall when, hearing his name mentioned as a possible member of HRC's campaign, it was discounted because they were somewhat on the outs.

This could be totally my misinterpretation of what I read.

9. The Clintons don't have a good history with friends : H.S.Thompson
Who is considered by Historians and Journalist as the the one of the
great observers of American Politics.

"Some people will tell you that Bill Clinton fits that description far better than Bush or Nixon -- and they are not entirely wrong. Nixon stabbed his Enemies in the back, but Clinton did it to his Friends. His lust to inflict Punishment surpassed even Nixon's, and he put more people in prison than Caligula. He had his own brother locked up & he refused to pardon his old friend Webb Hubbell. Richard Nixon was a criminally insane Monster -- Bill Clinton is a black-hearted Swine of a friend."

"One of Clinton's most Ignoble acts as President was not to pardon an Innocent 22-year-old girl named Lisl Auman, who will now go to prison for the rest of her life without Parole for a crime she was never even Accused of committing. It is a long, ugly story & we don't have time or space for it now -- but you can get the gist of it from Lisl.com."

:eyes:

Your poll unwittingly shows how the Clinton's tend to treat those who don't suck up.

14. Why on earth would he "pay" for endorsing Obama?
What if he had endorsed Clinton? Would he "pay" for that if she lost?

Good grief, get a grip.
