An appointment, a policy position, focus on an issue, whatever it might be.

4. Add Richardson to the list of Dems thrown under the bus.
Let's see, who do we have on this list?

Chris Dodd
John Kerry
Ted Kennedy
Caroline Kennedy
Bill Richardson
Keith Olbermann
Huffington Post
Randi Rhodes

Am I missed anyone?

I hadn't heard. He's a favorite of mine.

23. Leahy endorsed Obama long ago -- he was one of the earliest to come out
I was impressed by that. He endorsed before Ted Kennedy or even (I think) John Kerry.

27. That's funny -- I was an Edwards supporter at the time too and I was shocked
that Leahy would endorse Obama over Clinton. It was the first time I got the impression
that Obama wasn't just some fresh-faced kid, but a colleague that even the older guys
respected. It made me think there must be something more to the Obama than meets the eye,
which turned out to be right.

32. Pat Leahy is not a great fan of the Clintons
We knew last summer that he'd be endorsing Obama, so it wasn't a shock to Vermonters. Our Rep, Peter Welch who's a great guy, also endorsed Obama early.

9. Short list for VP. No Obama camp strategy there! He needs Hispanic support.
But I don't think he'd offer it to him. Bill is being very dumb.

12. Grammatically speaking, you've designated yourself a DLC democrat. Is this your intention?
If not, you may want to correct your misplaced modifier. If you want to indicate that Richardson is the DLCer, then you should make sure he is the clear grammatical subject of the main clause.

Just thought you'd like to know before people start in on your being a DLCer. I'm not trying to be snarky or the grammar police here.

in the Obama administration. Bill would be a fine addition to any cabinet.

What a sellout!!!

(and I will assume that your post was a "sarcasm" post as well, but you need to add the tag!)

19. DLC + Sold Out = Hillarity
My god you guys are creative. The idea that somebody could sell out and NOT go to the DLC is laughable.

This week is certainly ending much better than it started.

21. What do mean 'sold out'?
Like any Democrat he is free to make his own endorsements of other Democrats. There is no need to be disrespectful.

22. So making an endorsement of Obama is "selling out?"
The governor thought long and hard about this matter and finally decided that the time is right to endorse Obama. It had nothing to do with selling out and everything to do with doing what is right for the benefit of the party and this country. But you are cynical enough to think that Obama has to give Richardson something to win the endorsement. But did you ever stop and think that just maybe Richardson sincerely believes that Obama will make a better president?

Your choice of terms REVEALS your bias. You totally discredit anything you have to say the moment it leaves your mouth/fingers.

If it's not just your biased opinion, you need to produce proof that it is a sell-out.

26. As a Real Democrat, I'm proud to tell you and your crew of DINOs to go fuck yourselves.
Your candidate has lost.
Your way of doing things has failed.

The DLC will be lanced like a boil on the ass of the Democratic Party.
Enjoy!

28. What are you getting from a candidate for voting the way you did or will?
surely you have no real opinion of your own and your vote is up for sale. Hopefully McCain won't make you a better offer to get you to vote republican.

More of the progressive wave that will wash the DINOS out to sea.
