BREAKING: More shocking video of preacher talking about black genocide from American government!
THIS IS HUGE AND WILL DEFINITELY SINK HIS CAMPAING NOW!

McCain Spiritual Guide Accused Gov't Of Enabling 'Black Genocide'

"Right now our own government is allowing organizations like Planned Parenthood to legally take the innocent lives of precious baby girls and baby boys and even footing the bill for it all with our tax dollars, turning every single one of us into accessories to murder," he says. "You know who their biggest fans must be, that must be the Klu Klux Klan, because the woman who founded this organization detested black people.... African Americans were number one on Margaret Sanger's list. So this 'Lady MacDeath,' as I like to call her, studied the works of Englishman Thomas Robert Malthus, and embraced his plan of eugenics."

12. I gave up on the media long ago
and get most of my news from the internet. The last time I watched cable news was on Super Tuesday because the news was coming fast and furious and TV was the way to go. Otherwise, feh.

11. Sorry, I disagree
My beef with him is his embrace of Louis Farrakhan who I consider a hate monger. If you're interested, take a look at this link and all the info there.

13. I know who Farrakhan is. Every single other part of the smear
on Wright turns out not to be true. Now I wonder if that part is true.

14. The ADL site
(if you have bothered to look) only quotes Farrakhan - it makes no judgements and allows thinking people to read what he said and make their own decisions. The man is a creep.

15. I've been to that site many times and am not disputing that
Farrakhan is a creep.

What I said was that I wonder if Wright really is affiliated with him because everything else Wright has been smeared with turns out to be bullshit.

given to Farrakhan by Rev Wright's church. It's an award named after Rev. Wright

17. Trade you. I found this at Media Matters.
Russert falsely attributed "epitomized greatness" quote to Rev. Wright

Summary: During the February 26 Democratic presidential debate, Tim Russert falsely claimed that Rev. Jeremiah Wright, the former pastor of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ, which Sen. Barack Obama attends, "said that Louis Farrakhan 'epitomizes greatness.' "

During the February 26 Democratic presidential debate, co-moderator Tim Russert said to Sen. Barack Obama, "The title of one of your books, Audacity of Hope, you acknowledge you got from a sermon from Reverend Jeremiah Wright, the head of the Trinity United Church." Russert then claimed, falsely, "He said that Louis Farrakhan 'epitomizes greatness.' " Russert went on to ask, "What do you do to assure Jewish-Americans that, whether it's Farrakhan's support or the activities of Reverend Jeremiah Wright, your pastor, you are consistent with issues regarding Israel and not in any way suggesting that Farrakhan epitomizes greatness?" But it was not Wright who said Farrakhan "epitomizes greatness." Rather, in an article in which Trumpet Newsmagazine -- a publication whose CEO and founder is Wright, then-pastor of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ, which Obama attends -- awarded Farrakhan the "Lifetime Achievement 'Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. Trumpeter Award,' " it was managing editor Rhoda McKinney-Jones, who wrote, "I could not help but think, the Minister, the man with whom I had been so casually speaking, truly epitomized greatness." Fox News' Sean Hannity similarly misattributed the quote on numerous occasions in January. Other media outlets -- in some cases citing Russert -- have misattributed the quote to Wright.

19. Understood
Am I supposed to feel better that someone else in that church said it? And to be honest, that quote is not was I'm referring to. That anyone, anywhere would give this prick (Farrakhan) an award for ANYTHING makes me want to retch. They HONORED him with an award. A pathetic hate monger. Rev Wright can kiss my ass.

I found when I went looking. It wasn't what I expected, and I shared it with you anyway.

How about that. :)

25. I get that
Meanwhile I'm fighting off two posters who seem to think that I hold Rev Wright's relationship with Farrakhan in any way against the senator. They're busy frothing at the mouth attributing phantom feelings onto me. Thank you for being respectful and understanding WHO I was talking about.

21. Where exactly do you draw the line on guilt-by-association, eh?
If your best friend was busted by the cops for manufacturing meth, does that mean you're guilty too?

If the woman that the Obama's hired to keep house for them turned out to be a former Sandinista, should they take heat for that?

I'm really sick of all you people, here, at a progressive web site, climbing on what is most certainly a conservative bandwagon by trying to impute things another individual said to Obama somehow. It's just f*cking stupid, so give it a rest. You all look like complete idiots and I'm beginning to think you actually are.

7. This is a mistake.
Right wing religious nuts want to make abortion illegal and put bible study in school's curriculum, among other crazy things.

I'll happily embrace our left wing religious folks, thank you very much.

22. I'm tired of people attacking Reverend Wright...
I don't know how you can compare someone who advocates exterminating and entire race, with excerpts from One Sermon in which Reverend Wright says 'god damn America'.
Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Biography

Considered a preacher par excellence, the Reverend Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. was born on September 22, 1941, in Philadelphia. His parents, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Sr. and Dr. Mary Henderson Wright, were his earliest influences, instilling in him the possibility of balancing the intellectual with the spiritual. Armed with this philosophical upbringing, Wright has pastored Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ since 1972, seeing its membership grow from eighty0seven adult members to a congregation of nearly 10,000. Wright's early education took place in Philadelphia's public schools. From there, he went on to earn a B.A. and an M.A. from Howard University, an M.A. from the University of Chicago and a doctorate in divinity from United Theological College, where he studied under the eminent Samuel DeWitt Proctor.

Wright takes seriously not only the call to worship but also the call to take action as mandated by the Gospel. Under his leadership, Trinity adopted the motto "Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian" and has set out to make activism within and on behalf of the African American community a key aspect of the church's mission. An outspoken community leader, Wright has been vocal in making once-taboo issues, such as AIDS, a priority within the African American church leadership and service. His commitment to political activism, coupled with his dedication to the African American sermonic tradition, has made him a highly sought-after speaker nationally and internationally.

Wright is the recipient of numerous awards, including three honorary doctorates and three presidential commendations. An accomplished musician and author, Wright has written four books, numerous articles and countless sermons and was named one of Ebony's top fifteen preachers. In addition to national and international ministry, Wright serves on several boards of directors and committees.
Married to the Reverend Ramah Reed Wright, Wright has five children and three grandchildren.

Wright was interviewed by The HistoryMakers on January 11, 2002.

4. Parsley is BFFs with Ken Blackwell
and this is just the setup so Blackwell can work in secret, a la Rove, to enable the same election fraud tactics in Ohio as in 2004.

30. I believe it made all the media
However, they went on to say it was planted by Axelrod whom passed it over to the NY Times to draw attention away from Obama and Wright. Then they went on to say it was dirty politics.
