Obama in Over the Hedge
First a plot summary. RJ has enlisted a Pit Bull puppy (Steve) to help him steal food from picnicking humans. They used the bad reputation to their advantage. Even though the puppy is very friendly, people freak and run for their lives. Steve picks up the discarded food and carries it back to his new friends. During a big Twinkie heist, the Pit Bull got caught by animal control. In today's comic RJ his friends are visiting Steve. I will let the strip speak for itself from here.

At first I thought it was a rip off of Pogo, but it grew on me.
