Edited on Fri Mar-21-08 02:01 PM by PCIntern
No...you don't, that's why I'm going to tell you, but I got you to look, didn't I?

Sorry...I've had a very hard day...

What I think is that the Plan was to break into all three with the intention of looking at just one or two. It's like the supposed random killer who kills some random folk and the intended victim...many detective stories about this. Personally, I was the dental instructor for one of the significant suspects in the Tylenol killer case - they thought that one of the victims was an intended victim. This was and is today an open case and believe me, there are detectives still looking. This won't, mark my words, happen in this case.

So if caught, the story could be deflected as it is being managed right now..."it was all three so it's no big deal...just idle curiosity so move along before I wiretap you..."

Wouldn't want anyone to get suspicious that they were after the Dems.

Frankly, I think it has a Rovian smell. JMHO (Where is he, by the way?)

20. Oh come on...
it refers to responses to posts...not a threat to one's person. Being told that I am completely off-base when there's no question that I made a valid proposition is quite provovative. I was attempting to state that I wasn't going to respond in kind.

This is completely ridiculous...those of us who are attempting to withhold argumentative, inflammatory posts, are now being skewered. What is going on here at DU...people are losing their collective minds.

21. I re-read my original post six times...
I sincerely believe that it's an appropriate analogy AND I deeply resent the implication from all of you that I am showing violent tendencies in my posts. These are expressions of frustration with the body politic and with the situation as it is playing itself out in front of our eyes.

I do not see, for example, responses to others' posts involving 'rioting in the streets' or regular posters at DU who state that they are gun owners and 2nd Amendment believers that imply that they are going to get their pitchforks or guns and get 'alerted' (FWTW) here. this piling on on my post is, in my opinion, over-sensitive bordering on...well...something. I'm not certain what.

The example I used was perfectly respectable and reasonable for the situation involving the Passport Office as it has presented itself. I stand by that post 100%. If the expression "hair-trigger' was presumed by some literarily narrow-minded folk to mean a literal trigger on a gun, then I suppose that "I regret that you interpreted that phrase in that manner" and that in the future, I will use examples drawn exclusively from nursery rhymes to exemplify my points, unless Jack and Jill's falling down the hill is too violent for some around here.

I'm going to stop here, because I am going to say something that others and then I will regret.
