The media is doing whatever they can to knock Obama down
He had good news today and they are still trying to knock him down about his grandma. The thing I LOVE is that despite 24/7 negative coverage by them he is still rebounding in the polls. YES, I know it will be back via 527 ads in the future BUT they still did not destroy him. I guess the media will finally stop once they realize it is not working. Go Obama!

1. Yes, that is what the media does to the new candidate at some point each year
Politics didn't begin with Obama. ;)

2. The media is trying to help Obama bounce back
Passport-gate could have been reported as a breach against several candidates, rather than against Obama only.
Then we have Jake Tapper calling Hillary a liar on NAFTA based on anonymous sources who supposedly attended the 1993 NAFTA meeting.
We have Peggy Noonan praising Obama, the NY Post and many other newspapers editorializing that Obama's speech was the best thing ever, and the list goes on.

15.  McCain, Huckabee and Rove defend Barack Obama
They're not really defending, But are keeping their hands clean.

I'm not going to link right wing sources

Huckabee defends Barack Obama on Rev. Wright controversy
http://youtube.com/watch?v=r1M_dBQlsr8

MCCAIN: I think that when people support you, it doesn't mean that you support everything they say.
Obviously, those words and those statements are statements that none of us would associate ourselves with,
and I don't believe that Sen. Obama would support any of those, as well.

18. McCain has a very good reason for putting that opinion out
because he's in the same position with Hagee. Huckabee, while I disagree with each and every of his political positions, is basically a decent human being, IMO, and his sense of fairness is shaped by his faith rather than his advantage. I haven't heard Rove defend Obama, so I have no opinion on that one.

6. Pat B: The Wright Scandal "Ghettoizes" Obama
Eugene!? WTF? What are you doing? You're going to let Pat talk this type of trash and smile?

Once again, I cannot emphasize how bitterly disappointing D. gregory's new show is.

7. It's disgusting. MSNBC between Buchanan and Scarborough.
Penn just quoted Scarborough in a conference call.

That's just f**king SICK!

Why doesn't the damn media actually do a story on Obama's Pastor and Church in AN OBJECTIVE way?

I'm so disgusted. :(

IMO, the Democratic Party, in general, will lose many members if they allow the Clintons and their favorite fundraiser's station FOX (along with the whorish media) to *dirty trick* their way into the nomination.

9. That show has had either PB or JS trashing Obama every day and talking about race, nonstop since
its inception.

12. From the moment I saw David Gregory doing the boogaloo with Karl Rove and laughing up a storm,
I haven't been able to stomach him.

This show has got to go. And (assuming he's still part of the White House press corps), isn't doing this show a conflict of interest?

8. I turned to Faux for 2 min. and they were discussing how the MSM did their best to IGNORE
Edited on Fri Mar-21-08 06:09 PM by jenmito
the Wright story and used any excuse possible to gloss over it and change the subject and giving him only positive coverage, saying later tonight they're going to have a whole show on that subject. :eyes: They went on to say how everyone praised his speech, knocking Wright out of the spotlight, and that Obama "did his best" to knock the story out of the headlines by making his speech, "passport-gate," and then using the Richardson endorsement. Are they blind? The Wright thing and then the grandma thing have been covered constantly!

All the Democratic candidates ever since this far to long primary campaign crap began . The media is corporate owned with only corporate interests in mind , not yours or mine but their own .

Which is war and product and death and none sense . Their only goal is to protect their own interests .
