Maria from Voto Latino said something very interesting on Hardball right now...
that Bill Richardson has enormous pull with the 40 or so Latino Superdelegates.

Take that, Penn.

3. I doubt it
I don't see a two-minority ticket, it might be pushing the envelope farther than the party is ready to go; though Richardson is a very good match in other ways. I think he will serve in the Obama administration, but not as VP. That will be a white guy, I expect, one with national security cred.

7. I don't see a two-minority ticket
See, thats the thing.

Most white people (myself included) dont look at Bill Richardson and see a Hispanic.

We see a guy who would do his best for our country.

Honestly, his race wont be as much of a negative as many people think.

9. I adore the man
I still don't think the party would go for it. I imagine making the leap to a black nominee is crossing a big enough chasm for the time being. They will want to balance the ticket with a white guy to offset McCain. Maybe I am wrong and you are right. But I don't think so.

20. Speaking as a "typical white person" I don't see a minority when I look at Obama,
I see a smart, calm, competent, statesman, christian, father and our next president, who may give us a chance of gaining back some respect from the rest of the world. I am just praying he is as progressive as I am.

17. probably too much diversity
it will be Edwards or Webb. I wish Clark hadn't bashed Obama - he would have been great.

10. I heard him say that too.
He said he wasn't interested either in VP or a cabinet position. He said he enjoyed being Governor and growing his beard and would be campaigning for Obama.

19. she didn't say - it was one of those little things that got glossed over
but had me thinking... so I googled Latino Superdelegate the only came up with some Latino superdelegates that were pissed that she fired Solis-Doyle.

You can check Demcon watch (the link above) but I can't tell someone's origin from their name.
