Poll question: What would you rather have? 4 more years of Republican corruption or good times & peace?
People, let's get real. Barack Obama won't stand an inkling of a chance vs McCain. I guess that's why the Corporate Media and so many Republican operatives are doing everything in their power to insure that Obama wins the Democratic Primary.

If Obama wins the nod, it'll be over as soon as the Right Wing runs its first TV commercial showing a crusty old war hero in one clip, followed by a brief clip showing an image of a high school kid snorting coke. Then they'll have the voice come on in the commercial asking "Which type of person would you rather have as the Commander in Chief, the first person or the second one?"

We all know that a clip like that is going to happen, and the minute it does, it'll be curtains for Obama and we'll be suffering through another 4 years of a Bush-like tyranny. If that clip doesn't work, then all they'll have to do is play one or two hateful soundbites of Obama's close friend, spiritual adviser, and pastor of 20 years....the honorable Reverend Wright.

The choice is easy: We can nominate Barack Obama if we want another 4 years of Republican corruption or we can nominate the only person, Hillary Clinton, who can put a whipping on John McCain in the General Election.

5. Do you think that's a loaded poll? Slightly, maybe?
I think we should have nominated Edwards, because he was the most electable candidate, as evidenced by all the polls of the time. Richardson would also have been tough, and perhaps Biden. Of course, we suicidal Democrats, ALWAYS nominate our least electable candidates. Now, we're down Obama and Clinton. What makes you think Clinton is so electable. She's always had the highest negative numbers. With McCain at about 25% unfavorability, and Hillary at about 50%, I think it's pretty clear that with her as our nominee, we get our ass kicked. As for Obama, he was looking pretty good, even though he has such little experience (which will come up in the election). At any rate, he's damaged now that the media can't stop talking about a thirty-second sound bite by, not Obama, but his fucking pastor.

29. Check with Tony McPeak
Obama's National campaign co-chair.

Is Iraq the last country we confront in the Middle East?

Who wants to volunteer to get cross-ways with us? We'll be there a century, hopefully. If it works right.

I'll tell you one thing we should not hope for (is) a democratic Iraq. When I hear the president talking about democracy, the last thing we should want is an election in Iraq. We're not very popular. So I don't think we'll see any open elections in Iraq for a long time.

Hopefully over time they can be brought along like Japan and Germany -- Japan and Germany were relatively easy, I think, and South Korea.

9. You are not playing with a full deck if you seriously think Hillary can win.
The only response your post merits is laughter. You are NOT part of the reality-based community. Half of the country DISLIKES HER. Her negatives have a hard floor and no ceiling. Hillary couldn't 'put a whipping' on Obama in the fucking PRIMARY; why she'd make a better general-election candidate on this basis, I fail to see, but it's pretty obvious that you aren't on speaking terms with logic.

LOL!

Half of the country DISLIKES HER

Well that's dam good news. If only half the country dislikes her then that means that the other half likes her. Plus, her likability is going up and up all the time, while Obama's is sinking faster than an anchor. By the time November rolls around, she just might be the most popular personality in America.

14. Remember, you need the Congress to pass anything
I think Hillary has a better chance at passing her programs by having more bipartisan support. I'm not so sure the other side will be jumping for joy to vote for Obama on the issues. Therefore, we have a better chance of getting good legislation passed with Hillary rather than Obama which will have more gridlock in the Senate.

She's the first and only 2008 candidate who proclaimed she would stop the war upon taking the oath of office if it was still going on at that time. Hillary will bring peace and good will. Wait and see.

If this is the best you can do I suggest taking up more drugs.

What's it like being just another tool snake? Like Brando you could have been a contender, but instead settled for brain dead sophistry and simplicity that would make 1+2=3 blush.

HRC has her flaws, but she is known. Anything bad about her has been brought to the public's eye and you can't say much more bad about her because it's all been done. Americans are tired of the right wing's talking points about her and her husband.
