Another angle on Wright; Didn't Bush's pastor DENOUNCE W and kick him out?
I mean, Obama has to bear the burden of every word uttered by Reverend Wright, but when W's own church gave him the boot over some of the same policies Wright was denouncing, where was the media?

Where was the media?

1. The USA should denounce Bush-Cheney and kick them out.

2. Excellent observation.
I remember when this happened, too.

But who is surprised at the media double standard? Appears that a politician's pastor MATTERS when it's a Democrat; but when it's a RETHUG, especially George W. Bush, his/her pastor doesn't matter at all.

3. The methodist church made it clear that it did not support
Bush's warmongering.
the media reported it.
(that's how we know about it.)

4. Was it a week-long media frenzy?
Just askin. It still seems to me that a sitting president getting kicked out of his own church is far more newsworthy than an un-nominated presidential candidate's pastor's opinion. But maybe that's just me.

6. The two things don't equate for whatever reasons
Bit like the RC church shunning Kerry for his abortion stance. Ho-hum. Christians doing the religious thing according to their dogma/ lights.

Not the same ilk as the Wright thingy
