Barack will be on "The View" on Friday
I have no idea why he would agree to do that show! All of the hosts admitted that they voted for Hillary. They were gushing because Chelsea called them (gag!). Then they have ELizabeth the Republican hack. Ugh. Oh and Whoopi who threw Obama under the bus for supposedly snubbing Hillary that day in the senate (when she went to shake Kennedy's hand). I would not give them the time of day. I wish he would have selected another show instead. Oh well....hopefully he will be able to survive a couple of segments with them. LOL I cancelled my Tivo season pass for the show when they jumped on the Hillary wagon. I will go in to set it to record for that one day.

2. It's brilliant!

1. Remember the Big Dawg playing saxophone on Arsenio Hall at a low point in his candidacy in 1992? This is Obama's "Arsenio moment".

2. You generate positive buzz by going into the lions den to talk with your detractors... not by "playing it safe" and only talking to rabid supporters.

3. 80% of the View's audience are women. Obama will strongly cut into the women vote with this appearance.

4. Obama is a very talented guy. Wouldn't surprise me if he wows them.
He always says you have to talk to your "enemies"...Well, let's give him a break on this, who knows who he very well may convert..

28. I think it's a smart move
When he spoke at the Democratic Convention ~ I knew he would do great things.

We sent him a note after the speech and since then he sends us Christmas Cards and notes to donate... no problem with us. We just keep sending him money. :)

However, last year I went to see him at USC. He was there with 10 other California politicians.

When he walked on that stage, everyone just exploded with joy!
USC students, mostly White, were screaming his name, like he was a Rock star. Males and Females of all ages were crying out his name.

All I know is, I would be shocked if he didn't get the same reaction.

It's something about the way he talks, walks, smiles and connects that makes him extra special. And when he starts speaking to his audience,it's as if you are the only person listening and about 600 people were at USC that day.

7. this could be great
Elizabeth Hasselbeck can be just as venom filled as she wants, but as soon as he comes in, smiles at her and asks how her baby is doing, she'll freakin' melt. I bet they all do.

10. The hosts of that show
aren't exactly intellectual heavyweights. They are comedians and entertainers. I don't think O will have much trouble with them at all.

his cool demeanor and ability to make people look bad by taking the high road will only make them look bad if they attack him.

31. Do you enjoy publicly demonstrating your ignorance?
The show gets 3 million viewers daily..about the same number as Meet the Press (which is the top rated of the Sunday talkers). And it gets an audience that differs from the Sunday talkers, so reaching out and getting instant exposure to 3 million voters is actually a very good move.

What else does "nobody" do in your little world?
