Super delegates should vote the will of the people
And I agree with Sen. Obama, that super delegates should vote according to how each state's primary results have voted.

Uh oh....

Gov. Bill Richardson is a super delegate from New Mexico but Sen. Clinton won the New Mexico primary.

Darn it.

9. Yes, that would apply to Kerry and Kennedy as well...
and plenty of Hillary supporters in Obama-won states.

Probably a zero-sum game, so I say the Super-D's should be able to do some vote-trading - just to save themselves the stink of switching.

10. What *IS* the will of the people?
Since Caucuses are undemocratic and normal primaries can be fixed to a point?

11. IMO super delegates should vote the will of loyal Democratic Party members, those who were members
yesterday and who will be members tomorrow, not those who are here just for one election and one candidate.

12. Hate to confuse some of you guys with facts, but....
In Feb, Richardson thought the superdelegates should base their votes
on the "will of the people."
A few weeks later....oh well, not so much.

Welcome to the new politics, no more "same old same old."

13. have you called or written them with that view. I think it helps.
Don't let the campaigns be the only ones influencing them. Let them, and everyone else know how you feel, because, the super delegates can vote however they please.

23. Obama never said that
He said that the superdelegates as a whole should not overturn the pledged delegates. He never said SD's should vote with their states...that would defeat their whole purpose.
