Clinton supporters - I understand where you are coming from.
I understand the "boycott", and I certainly understand why there is 'ignore' and such. Remember my avatar - I am a Deaniac, and the '04 wars were HORRIBLE, and even I had to go beyond the rules established by DU and Skinner had no choice but to ban me, and my exodus to what was Dean Underground was accelerated because of this. We even had PM's through DU telling each other where to go. I fully support your rights to a free speech wherever you wind up. Just remember, don't let yourself become an echo chamber. Dean Underground was an echo chamber, but has since evolved to an independent thinking website which I still cannot name here, a ruling by Skinner that we have long since accepted and abided (and I broke it earlier today and had the entire thread deleted which I admit was a mistake on my part, and accepted the consequences of that mistake).

Do what you will, and I say to you - you are still an important part of the Democratic movement, and hope you will come back when the primaries are over.

Good luck!

Hawkeye-X

3. Yes, after the elections were over - Jan '05...
I applied to be reinstated and apologized to the admins and the mods for being way overzealous.

I have been a very good member since then. :hi:

4. Oh yes, the Dean-Clark wars were horrible.
I am proud to say that I have made a lot of good friends with Clarkies or former Clarkies since then.

6. Hell, I was madly for Adlai as a kid. And McCarthy, Musky,
McGovern and so on. Good people, all. Ya does your best, then ya take the losses and move on. And if you're a solid Democrat, you are right there next time.

Nice post, Hawkeye-X. I bet a lot of veterans got your point. :toast:

7. Clinton is going to WIN the nomination and THEN the GE.
The battle will rage on UNTIL Clinton is seated as President in the Oval Office. NOT going ANYWHERE and will continue to 'debate' with the BObots through THICK and THIN!

9. I understand... but once the nomination is decided, the losing side has to accept it and move on....
..

Once Dean dropped out, you needed to let it go Hawkeye. There was a general election to win.

10. Wasn't that place filled with a bunch of Dean supporters that suddenly switched to Joe Lieberman?

11. I applaud the sentiment - from another Clarkie
There is however something fundamentally different this time around in the tenure of the discussions. 2004 was a primary. This is something else entirely.
