1. Just to put this in context
This is the closest that they have been since Feb 26th.

Current RCP average is a 16 point lead for Hillary.

4. Hillary's Bosnia gaffe (or is it a lie?) sure isn't going to help, as it will now get endless play.

Sixteen points isn't enough. She needs a thirty point lead

in PA and all the rest of the contests if she wants to plead a legitimate case for the superdelegates.

5. When they take into account the new voters and party switchers
It will get even closer. I'm willing to bet there is inbetween 200-300 thousand new democrats in the state of PA and they go 2-1 for Obama.

The thing is if we get within 5 points will the Media report what a collosal failure that is for Hillary seeing she had the state by 20 a month before the primary.

8. I agree with you. New registrations are at an all-time high
and I don't think they're for Hillary.

10. I think they well.
I heard that on CNN three weeks ago that Obama needed to finish within ten points of Hillary in Pennsylvania.

Given that Pennsylvania and North Carolina account for 300 delegates, it would be mathematically impossible for her to catch up.

13. If you can't win big
In a state where every major political official has endorsed you. Every mayor in the larger cities, and the demographics match up perfectly for you....than you are really managing your campaign poorly.

9. Hillary's favorability rating plummets eight points...
Edited on Tue Mar-25-08 10:52 AM by jefferson_dem
"In the Keystone State, Clinton is now viewed favorably by 68% of Likely Democratic Primary Voters. That’s down from 76% in the previous survey. Obama is viewed favorably by 71%, a figure that is little changed from 72% earlier in the month."

11. The numbers of those with Obama-Wright connection are interesting
I suspect as we get closer to the primary those numbers will continue to drop which would aid Obama.

16. re-registered
I re-registered from independent to democrat to vote in the pa primary-I strongly supported Edwards and will have to settle for someone else. Hillary is just simply, too much of a liar to trust. I am not ecstatic about Obama. I thought his speech was excellent, but he, too, supports things that I think are awful, like nuclear power(read "Atomic Suicide" by Walter Russell), but he is far preferable to either Clinton or NcCain, both warmongers and liars who are power-hungry.

18. looks like the clinton campaign
jumped the gun with the Rev. Wright bs. They should have waited until closer to PA. I'm sure they'll dream up something else. They're nothing if not desperate.
