5. the virtual 'stage hook' has already been used by Pelosi
when she said that it was the duty of the super's to stand behind the will of the people. Bill Richardson also said this back before Texas and Ohio when he said that the winner as of that date should be the nom. Bill Clinton also said that Hillary needed Ohio AND Texas to win. If she didnt win those two states she couldnt win. (she lost Texas)
I think someone will have to pry her "cold dead hands" off of a microphone at the convention. I think it will be a nasty sight to see her scratching and clawing as she's caried out of the building.
I'm enjoying the spectacle of watching someone get ever more t-i-g-h-t-l-y wound each day, and wondering if she'll quit before she explodes into confetti.
I think isn't to pleased with her for the way she treated him as VP....believe me Gore is just waiting when pulling the hook out will seem like the legitemate thing to do.
25. Hope you're right. Unless Gore hopes to break the logjam and take the top spot w/ Obama as VP. . .
Wouldn't be thrilled with the result, but could live with it. I'm a little worried that Hillary has beaten Obama up so much as she looks to 2012 that we might need someone like Gore to boost our prospects. As long as Hillary leaves the stage, it's got to help.
9. Here She Is Leading By Example -- From Her Supporters....
"Does anyone know where I can find it? I read that she will be in North Carolina tomorrow. I have volunteered and donated and still I hear nothing from the campaign. I have called her national headquarters for two days and the mailbox is full. I can't find a local number. I even called her Senate office and all they could do is refer me to the same numbers, etc. I have already tried. I am frustrated."
It's not like she has any respect for Howard Dean or any of his people, and we've now seen that any of the former Clinton people who break ranks are considered traitors. Who is there left that she'd actually listen to if they told her it was time to hang it up? Nancy Pelosi? Maybe, maybe not.
18. Here's who: donors to her campaign and donors to Bill's museum and his
charity. Money talks.
It seems to me that Bill Clinton's #1 priority is burnishing his legacy. He has all the comforts of a rich retirement so what is left for him to want? Immortality, that's what. If that is threatened, he's going to get Hillary to bail.
And I doubt at first he will do anything that would embarass her - he knows Sen Obama will need the votes of her supporters and that would seriously piss them off. I think he'll quietly take her aside (or call her) and try and reason with her. But in his back pocket, he'll hold out the threat of a public announcement.
The Main Stream Media. When they start crunching the numbers in earnest on a 24/7 news cycle, day after day, bill and hil will have no choice. I think, or rather hope this will happen after Pa.
