Photo of Hillary with new buddy - Richard Mellon Scaife, who accused her of murdering Vince Foster
What will Hillary NOT do in her selfish POTUS quest?

Hell Has Officially Frozen Over

It caught my eye as a flash on Brit Hume a few moments ago, but here is a photo from Hillary Clinton's visit today to the editorial board of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. In this picture, she is seen talking to none other than Richard Mellon Scaife, the owner of the paper and the man who once said that the death of Vincent Foster was the "Rosetta stone" of the Bill Clinton administration. (He also funded the so-called "Arkansas Project" at The American Spectator.) We've heard reports of a rapprochement between Scaife and the Clintons of late, and the Pennsylvania primary is fast approaching, but this is still a pretty striking picture.

10. Wake up to the dog and pony show that was the 90s. All the trumped up 'scandals' and sex obscured
all the serious matters that the media and the bases ignored, like the steady march to fascism.

Clintons were ALWAYS protecting BushInc and the Dems were so busy protecting Clintons from all the little fires that were burning on so many fronts that BushInc was getting away with robbing the banks and setting up their global fascist agenda.

Neither want Obama as the nominee.

Hillary will align herself with any rabid right winger--in order to get what
she wants.

I can only imagine what the Scaife family of hoodlums and Hillary have planned for
Senator Obama.

To sell herself out like this---to people who clearly laughed their asses off at her--the
second she walked out the door--is yet another pathetic plank in her house of horrors campaign
to nowhere.

and yet the Obama infiltrated brain is made up.

I heard Bill Clinton once say that he couldn't remember who to hate -- he's just not big on holding grudges by nature. That tells me more about the photo than the tripe I read here. So Hillary doesn't hold hate and you accuse -- face it: anything Hillary does will meet with condemnation by this Obamination.

Pitiful.

52. I think I'm living in Bizarro-world or something.
Let me first say that at least to me, this is a non-issue politically. He's not a felon (yet). He's not currently spewing racial bile. He's not a sex offender. He's a newspaper man. And she can meet with whomever she wants to for whatever reason.

This is more just one of those strange bed-fellows stories that has a lot of long time democrats shocked. Not just "pathetic Obamanation" - (common, can we quit with that already?)

Before this stupid primary ruined our party, I (and many other Obama supporters) defended The Clintons vehemently whenever asshats like Scaife tried his smears. He accused her of MURDER. He tried to RUIN the Clintons - politically, professionally, and personally. HE IS the vast right-wing conspiracy. "Not holding a grudge" is one thing but this is something entirely beyond that. I just don't get it and I'm just SHOCKED. Absolutely shocked.

Again, I don't think this should or will have any effect on the race... it's just fascinating and shocking.

Oh and PS - HOW can you call BILL RICHARDSON "JUDAS" and with in HOURS sit down and meet with Scaife? This IS bizarro world.

42. In 1998, Dickie Scaife came to the White House and took a pic with Hillary and Bill
Hillary hated him big time back then (understandably), but she didn't have any choice as Scaife was on a list of people who had donated to the White House Preservation Society, or something like that.
Scaife is a demented individual. He smiled at President Clinton and Hillary, made small talk and posed "happily" for a picture. While at the same time, doing everything he could to force them out of the White House. Right after the Monica mess came out.

Weird stuff.

66. Please, why bother explaining something so simple to them.
They rather wallow in their self righteous indignation (as usual). Scaife is a POS, but he is a newspaper man and was there alongside the rest of the board.

What was she supposed to do, slap him and walk out of the room? Besides, the creep approached Bill a while ago and donated a fair amount of money to his foundation.

68. Ah, money. It makes everything cool.
And Carville was ranting about '30 pieces of silver' the other day?

This whole thing is simply beyond belief.

Oh, and I heard that the next piece of slime the Clintons are going to circulate is an anti-Obama story from the American Spectator.

The American Spectator.

There's no slime too slimy when you've got your eye on the prize, I guess.

Help us, Superdelegates! You're our only hope!

63. Is Scaife throwing a fundraiser for her too?
She could use the money.

At the rate she's going, that'll be her prime career option.

81. There is a distinct lack of cocktail weenies on that table.
IOW, a distinct lack of conviviality there. Clinton appears to be trying not to look at Scaife, who sits there with an incredulous look on his face.

This is definitely her "meet with Ahmadinejad" moment.
