Poll question: Who Is More Qualified to Be Commander-In-Chief? Nancy, Laura or Hillary?
Edited on Tue Mar-25-08 08:37 PM by David Zephyr
Never before in American history has the wife of a former President claimed that her time in the White House qualified her to be the Commander-in-Chief until now.

Now that's a very big claim and it does deserve some consideration since it is being made over and over all the time.

Hillary Clinton certainly has made her being First Lady a real "qualifier" to being the next Commander-in-Chief. Take that Barack Obama!

And, yet I know that while Nancy Reagan and Laura Bush have never braved real live sniper fire in a war zone as Hillary has, still all three certainly have nearly eight years in the White House to their credit, and all three have slept with that famous red phone right next to their beds.

So in my humble eyes, it is about a toss up as to experience between the three of them.

But what say you?

Which of the three is more qualified to be Commander-in-Chief?

15. But then again, Hillary voted for the war in Iraq. Nancy and Laura can't claim that.
I think that Hillary's vote for Bush's amazing and brilliant war in Iraq might give her the edge over Nancy and Laura.

34. Yes, they did.
Edited on Tue Mar-25-08 11:07 PM by totodeinhere
They both got off the plane at the airport dodging a ballistic missile that landed about two feet from them. Then Laura took personal command of an artillery battery and single handedly defended the entire airport and all inhabitants from incoming bazooka fire. Then Nancy got on the radio and called in a squadron of F-17's which was finally able to calm the situation. So you can see from this experience how qualified either Laura or Nancy would be to be commander in chief.

How on EARTH can anyone say that Laura Bush or Nancy Reagan is comparable to Hillary Clinton? Are you all crazy? Somebody forgot to pay the brain bill for those two women! Hillary is a brilliant woman. Maybe not whom I'd prefer for president, but brilliant she is.
