The Clinton Campaign likes Right Wing Sources, Too!
Do they take after some of the Hillites here or are the Hillites just taking a cue from the Clinton Campaign? They both seem to love the right wing news sources.

The Clinton campaign is distributing an article in the American Spectator (!) about Obama foreign policy adviser Merrill McPeak and his penchant for.. well, the article accuses him of being an anti-Semite and a drunk. Principally, the author takes McPeak to task for supporting a Middle East map that would require Israel to withdraw to its pre-1967 border. It also makes the case that McPeak supports the Walt-Mearsheimer view of the influence of the Israeli lobby on foreign policy.

The author's sudden conclusion: "Obama has a Jewish problem and McPeak's bigoted views are emblematic of what they are. Obama can issue all the boilerplate statements supporting Israel's right to defend itself he wants. But until he accepts responsibility for allowing people like McPeak so close to his quest for the presidency, Obama's sincerity and judgment will remain open questions."

As one keen observer pointed out to me, if advocating the pre '67 border map makes one an anti-Semite, just about every iteration of the U.S. government since 1967 would qualify. Tony McPeak's verbal gymnastics do not make a "Jewish problem" for Obama.

Why doesn't the Clinton campaign just lick the feet of every Zionist? I bet they'd enjoy it.

4. On Friday, reporter Carrie Dann had the boring assignment of watching a stump speech.
Bill Clinton talked about two candidates who love their country, as he has before in his speeches.

Carrie Dann decided to present the stump speech as newsworthy by twisting that into an insult against Obama.

Today, the Democratic campaigns are still fighting over the aftermath of her contrived article.

5. What really angers me about this piece is that the Clinton campaign...

thinks Israel stealing and destroying Palestinian land means they are only trying to "defend" themselves. What a bunch of horse shit. They are building walls around entire Palestinian cities. The Zionists who control Israel are a bunch of terrorists, just like our Republican administration. I hope they're both smashed.

6. Hell, some of the HRC boosters here give us a "Rush" & "Hannity" update on a regular basis.
They rush in here with breathless reports solemnly informing us that the dittoheads and the freepers are all telling us one thing: if the Democrats want to win, they should nominate HRC. When called on their seeming fondness for rightwing rubbish they get all indignant and state that they're just "reporting what the enemy is saying" among other lame excuses.
