And probably back to Pastor Wright. I can't bring myself to watch any of the morning shows so someone will have to confirm or deny for me. Hope I'm wrong.

Or apparent lack of it in this case. They've asked every Joe blow about what they think of the Wright non-scandal for going on two friggin weeks. I'd like to hear the opinions of military types on what they think of Senator Clinton cheapening their service to political parlor games.

55. I'm not even using that instance as a guide, & I'm sure many of his 'misstatements can be uncovered
. . . if the Obama camp persists in this.

By your standard, Obama LIED when he failed to acknowledge over $150,000 in funds raised for him buy Rezko. And, by YOUR standard, he LIED when he said that Rezko's only involvement in the purchase of his home was a passing reference to the property. He later revealed they had, in fact, done an extensive walk through of the property together.

And, by your standard, Obama LIED when he claimed his 2002 speech was made 'in the midst of a Senate campaign' when he hadn't even yet declared he was in the running for the seat.

It's actually a lie, isn't it? A lie she repeated several times. But for you, she just "misspoke". How does that work? Was she as surprised as everyone else to hear herself make this false statement? Or is the idea that she "forgot" that she had walked calmly across the tarmac, "remembering" instead a headlong rush with bullets flying? Come on.

We've already had a delusional, lying president. It didn't work out.

If this keeps up much longer, I will be as sick of Hillary as I am of bush. And that takes some doing. And some lying! (Sorry, "misspeaking".)

You may answer the "bullshit" any way you want, my friend. But when I ask you to explain this mysterious "misspeaking" of Hillary's, you say, with no sense of irony, "Well, Obama lied too".

Time for words of one syllable. Every time we liberals criticize bush for his latest illegal act or horrific statement, the bushbots say "Clinton did it too! What about the blue dress?" Are you somehow unable to see that when I criticize Hillary and you shriek "Obama did it too!" you sound like a Republican? Just how deep does it go with you? My goodness.

But, in clear judgment, without bias, this was a blunder by the Clinton Campaign that could have been avoided, easily. The trip didn't need embellishing, it was honorable as is. Someone on the campaign should have caught it.

I honestly do not understand, though, how one's memory can be that wrong, without the intention to mislead.

28. Last night I watched part of the Dan Abrams show on MSNBC and
Abrams pretty much said it was no big deal. I was pretty shocked. Of all the things I've seen politicians do over the years, this war story was one of the most disturbing. Her entire demeanor changed while she was telling it - she was intense and animated - it was strange. I was floored when I heard this wasn't the first time she'd told the sniper story. Why anyone would think this is unimportant is beyond me. It was more than a "misspeak," it was a little nuts.

It definitely varies by organization and individual show. It seems each show has basically chosen a side in this. The press has been broken for a long time. I think it still tends to lean toward "The Establishment" candidate, for that is who signs their paychecks.

70. And this fall the Establishment Candidate will be John McCain.
I think the confusion at the moment is caused by the corporate press not being able to decide which of the remaining two Democratic candidates is the weaker. They go back and forth pointing out the numerous and potentially fatal flaws of each, as they lay the foundation for what they hope will be McCain's victory in November. Once we select a nominee, their job will become simpler.
