My God... She's been taken out by "sniper fire"

I'm finding this hard to believe. I mean, lord knows, she's said worse things.

And, personally, I don't think she knew that she was lying when she said it. I think she had built up that "experience" in her own mind, and described what she remembered. She just remembered it wrong. I've done that.

And I've been wrong several times already about Clinton's campaign being done for. Every time... she rises. It's like watching a scene from "Night of the Living Dead".

But there is something genuinely disturbing about this lie. And it disturbs me more that she "acknowledged" her lie with another lie. Her claim that she "mis-spoke" only underscored her continuing tendency to be dishonest.

All that said, over the last 24 hours I've read many comments by her supports on DU which have described the Clinton campaign in the past tense. It's hard to see how Clinton could sustain this blow at this juncture. As I say, I've been wrong before. But I think Hillary Clinton has been taken out by "sniper fire".

6. here's one example of that resignation...
this was from DU member "brensgrrl" last night

"...That is exactly how Obama supporters feel. It is GUARANTEED
that if Obama wins the nomination, all of us Hillary supporters will be thown under the wheels
as the bus of "change" rolls away. This is exactly what you Obamaites think of Hillary supporters--
none of our concerns deserve even a second glance. That our support of her counted for exactly
nothing and means nothing.

I am finally GLAD to hear an Obama supporter admit to this. And, BTW, Good Luck without us in the
General Election. . ."

3. She is a talented lier... this is the first time she has been caught completely red-handed this
primary. That's why it's such a big deal. It doesn't matter the content, it is a blatant, outright lie. People don't like being lied to.

11. He wasn't anti-Clinton until after Hillary's endorsement of McCain over Obama.

That tweaked a LOT of folks who were trying to stay neutral.

12. in order for her to remember it wrong
there had to be another similar incident of sniper fire, real sniper fire.
making up shit from thin air is not misremembering, it's lieing.

so she should be asked where and when that other incident took place.
